This stunning cottage sleeps five and is just steps away from the harbour and beach. Exposed beams, wooden flooring, Cornish stone walls, fabulous lighting, quality materials and soft furnishings are brought together to create a retreat that offers a gentle ambiance - somewhere peaceful to come home to after a day on the beach or out exploring the beautiful far west of Cornwall.
Step into Mill House and you'll find yourself directly in the spacious living area. A gorgeous deep grey sofa and love seat are found by the log burner which in turn nestles in the original Cornish stone chimney. Surrounded by unusual wood-lined walls and fabulous lighting, it's easy to while away an evening or two in this relaxing space. White wooden stairs lead up to the airy landing, complete with Velux window which floods the space with light.
A cool, calm and collected bespoke-fitted kitchen awaits you at Mill House. Uncluttered with smooth wooden work surfaces, Farrow & Ball cabinets and cupboards, Rangemaster oven and hob plus all the other mod cons you would expect, this is a fabulous kitchen in which to rustle up a seafood feast. The rustic dining table with bench and chairs sits within the open plan living area and is illuminated by a lovely vintage lamp - this is a perfect setting for long, luxurious meals with plenty of locally-sourced good food and drink.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a single, all furnished with sumptuously comfy beds, crisp white linen, heritage radiators, intriguing lighting, lovely throws and plentiful cushions - you are definitely guaranteed a full night's slumber at Mill House.
The family bathroom has a deliciously deep bath (perfect for whiling away an hour or two) with a huge drench shower. White metro tiles line the room, creating a clean, sparkling space whilst the heated towel rail fills the room with a gentle heat. There is an additional shower room so there'll be no arguing over who uses the bathroom first in the morning!

Mousehole is one of the most iconic fishing villages in Cornwall. Huddling the coastline and protected by Raginnis Hill, it's also one of the oldest with parts of the harbour wall dating back to the twelfth century. Today the village maintains its olde-worlde charm, with narrow cobbled streets, slate roofs, whitewashed cottages and brightly coloured paintwork. It's perfect for foodies, with a good selection of restaurants, cafés and delis, and is just a hop from the world-famous fishing village of Newlyn. The horseshoe beach is nicely protected by harbour walls which almost meet - creating a perfect spot for soaking up the Cornish sun - it's a real sun trap! There's plenty going on throughout the year here, but perhaps the most famous attractions are the harbour lights at Christmas when hundreds of people come to see the spectacular display.
