The Store Room

The Store Room is a lovely place to stay with everything you need for a relaxing break. The location is perfect, with Mousehole harbour literally just around the corner, as well as the fabulous No 2 Fore Street restaurant. We have very much enjoyed staying here time after time!

The Store Room is perfect for two and a small dog! We always love coming back here. The owners take every care to ensure it’s beautifully maintained and you want for nothing. It’s a little slice of heaven in Mousehole.

We enjoyed a very happy Christmas in this cosey & comfortable cottage. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas 2023. We loved it.

The cottage was perfect, the location was fabulous and all the little details for ourself and the dog were great. The bath was so also so nice!

Relaxing and peaceful stay at the Storeroom. A welcome antidote to the busyness of life. Well equipped kitchen, great shower and plunge bath, especially welcome after long walks along the coast path. Mousehole is a special place to stay and this retreat is located just a stones throw from the stunning harbour!

The Store Room is a true Cornish Gem and we were very impressed with the design of the property which is well thought out providing a great holiday retreat, very stylishly presented and decorated, extremely well equipped and many added extras to make our stay very pleasant. Its location in Mousehole is great, very central and just a few steps away from great eating places and delightful gift shops.

Really beautifully decorated and thought through accommodation in an excellent location. Perfect for a short break, we LOVED Mousehole…fantastic local restaurants too.

The Store Room is a beautiful place to stay, tucked away near to the harbour in Mousehole. It has everything you need for a perfect break. The local area is wonderful and even after several visits, we are still finding new places to eat, drink and walk to! We hope to return again soon.

Beautiful place to stay, decor and attention to detail was fantastic. Loved the bath and clever use of space. Definitely glad we took a small car so we were able to park right outside the property and manoeuvre in and out. Perfect little retreat.

Gorgeous interior with lots of personal touches. Great location and not too noisy with the restaurant near by. Parking could be an issue as most days builders had parked their vans across our access but once we tracked them down they were happy to move.

This is a fantastic retreat that we have now stayed at several times. We have tried other cottages too but The Store Room remains our favourite! The location is great, it’s quiet but just a minute from the harbour, and the parking space is a bonus. We love eating at 2 Fore Street which is literally steps away, but there are many other fantastic places to go to in Mousehole and Newlyn, plus a lovely cliff top walk to Lamorna Cove all within easy distance. The owners have thought of everything to make staying at The Store Room really special and relaxing: it is perfect!

Stunning cottage in the very heart of Mousehole

We absolutely love The Store Room. It it always a joy to return and we appreciate that it has continued to be maintained to such a high standard, so always feels fresh and new. Having visited at Christmas, the property had lovely decorations and a thoughtful and generous hamper. Please thank the owners and also Claire and team for preparing it so nicely.

The Store Room was a lovely find, as central as you can get, and the perfect for a retreat for two.

This is a lovely bolt hole in Mousehole which we would definitely recommend for couples. It’s in the heart of the village withIn a few minutes’ walk of some lovely places to eat and drink, and the pretty harbour. Newlyn is also in walking distance and has some great places for food. Having your own parking space is a bonus. We’ve stayed several times and keep coming back for more!!

I had thought that the expectations could not match the place in reality - but it really was the perfect little retreat! centrally place in Mousehole and yet so quiet and cosy - and beautifully decorated that it felt more like a hotel. loved the little touches for the dog and the treats left for us

A lovely, stylish and comfortable place to spend a week. Such well thought out accommodation and surprisingly private for so ewhere so close to the harbour.

We had a wonderful stay at The Store Room as soon as you walk in you get the Wow factor !! Cute little open planned cottage and the bedroom and bathing area was divine, we had some lovely cosy evenings in with a bottle or two of champagne whilst soaking in the Japanese Plunge Bath. The log burner was a lovely addition to the cottage but you don't need to worry about been cold as the cottage has underfloor heating. The restaurant next door even delivered our meal to our door on plates all you had to do was sit down and enjoy the meal. Mouslehole was a lovely place to stay and we had some amazing days out as well.

The cottage was beautiful and situated in an ideallic are of Mousehole. It's beautifully decorated even so we have taken ideas for our own home. The secure gardens are perfect for your dog and knowing your only a short walk from the local pub and restaurant is fantastic. Would recommend this place to all our friends and family and the log burner is a must !!!
