On the other side, a separate dining area awaits with a dining table and chairs, along with an additional seating area for eight promising stunning views over Fistral Beach - the most heavenly setting for dreamy repasts under beaming sunshine and star-studded night skies.

Heading back inside, a ten-seater sofa bedecked in cushions and throws beckons for relaxation. Commanding beautiful views from both sun decks and facing a 72-inch curved TV with soundbar, it promises endless appeal. Curl up on the sofa and make the most of the record player, DVD player and Sky box with Sky Sports, Netflix, Disney and Amazon Prime, or simply be mesmerised by the ocean scenes outside. For family games, a PS3 and Wii promise plenty of entertainment, while a selection of games and board games offer nostalgic fun. For added atmosphere, illuminate the fire pit coffee table and enjoy the soothing ambience of this space, where beach dreams and contemporary living seamlessly combine.

Eating and dining

Curated in an open-plan design and decorated with maritime artwork, the kitchen and dining room adjoin the lounge area and provide access to Azure Penthouse's beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. A particularly enticing space for crafting culinary masterpieces, the light-filled kitchen embodies contemporary style with sleek, handleless cabinets and slate units finished with marbled, white stone worktops. Fusing function and style, a floating island proposes space for socialising and cooking, while integrated appliances offer ease and convenience, including a six-zone induction hob and a built-in Miele coffee machine for dreamy morning brews.

Calling for delicious moments as an apricot sunrise paints the horizon, a spacious breakfast bar extends from the kitchen and runs parallel to one set of patio doors. Hugged by five, royal blue stools that add tasteful nautical inflections to the room, this informal dining space is ideal for slow breakfasts and evening nibbles. Completing the picture, an ash wood dining table and eight chairs lend a sense of ceremony to evening meals, soundtracked by ocean tides or Spotify favourites from the Google Nest Mini. For chilled glasses of something special, a wine fridge resides in the kitchen area, while for family feasts, a second fridge freezer can be found in the laundry room.

Sleeping and bathing

Azure Penthouse has five beautiful bedrooms, each featuring sea views, a Smart TV, and blackout blinds.

Azure Penthouse's master bedroom emanates coastal harmony, decorated in neutral tones and adorned with artwork influenced by the ocean. At the centre, a four poster oak bed faces dreamy vistas of Fistral Beach, and is hugged either side by bedside tables with lamps. Relax in the comfortable Rattan chair or push open the floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading to the outdoor deck and bask in the glorious vistas on calm mornings and starry nights. Or, draw the blackout blinds and nestle beneath the duvet, settling in for a movie night played on the Sky TV enclosed within the fitted wardrobes. For ultimate comfort, this bedroom has a master ensuite with a shower and bath.

The sublime second bedroom promises breath-taking views and the sweetest dreams with an upholstered Loaf Cookie super king bed. Topped with an Eve Sleep hybrid mattress and dressed in Neptune throws and cushions in navy and lichen tones, the cosiest scene is set for wave-watching through the sliding glass doors. Gaze out over the rolling breakers curling towards Newquay Beach or pull the blinds and immerse yourself in tales on page or screen. Adding ambience, a navy feature wall displays handcrafted art, while bedside lamps on twin tables exude mood lighting. This bedroom is finished with a writing desk, fitted wardrobe, Sky TV, and an upholstered ottoman. You'll also find an ensuite with a walk-in shower.

Sitting pretty alongside gorgeous seascapes, Azure Penthouse's third bedroom with Neptune wood panelling and cosy organic textures promises leisurely lie-ins and the cosiest nights. Taking pride of place, a Loaf Cookie super king bed with an Eve Sleep mattress radiates comfort, enveloped in super-soft sheets and sumptuous cushions and throws in sunset shades. Within the room, there is a Smart TV and a fitted wardrobe providing storage for belongings. For spellbinding ocean dreams, slide open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors for easy access to the sea-view deck and alfresco hot tub.

Inviting for serene sleeps and slow mornings dolphin-spotting from bed, Azure Penthouse's lovely fourth bedroom is a halcyon haven. Featuring a rustic wood panel wall that embodies beach living and decorated in calming tones, it imbues an irresistibly relaxing air. For peaceful repose, a Loaf Cookie bed with a hybrid Eve Sleep mattress takes centre stage, swathed in the highest quality linens and cosy cushions and throws. Elegantly pared-back, it features a long mirror and a Smart TV on the walls and a fitted wardrobe with space for stowing treasures. Allowing balmy, salt-kissed breezes to fill the room in summer are sliding glass doors onto the deck and hot tub.

A delightful double, the fifth bedroom overlooks Newquay Bay and enjoys direct access to the hot tub through glass doors. Paying homage to the sea, it contrasts a warm, exposed wood feature wall with off-white tones and presents beach artwork of summer beach scenes on the walls. You'll find a blue Loaf Cookie bed with an Eve Sleep hybrid mattress, ensconced on either side by bedside tables. Matching the bed is a navy armchair, while paired with the Smart TV for entertainment are an Xbox One and a selection of games.

In addition to two beautiful ensuites, Azure Penthouse also benefits from a family bathroom, all of which are served by heated towel rails and complete with the fluffiest towels for utmost comfort. You'll also find an addition toilet in the hallway.

Outdoor space

A scenic retreat situated on a striking headland on Cornwall's North Coast, Azure Penthouse awaits for dreamlike seaside reveries on the edge of the ocean. Promising the best of indoor and outdoor living from summer sojourns to winter escapes, two separate deck areas reside on either side of the penthouse and can be accessed from sliding glass doors from most of the rooms. Facing southwards across Fistral Beach, the picturesque Newquay Golf Club and the rugged Pentire headland, one deck presents an outdoor table with eight chairs and an eight-person sofa with a sun-washed wooden coffee table. You'll also find two gas barbecues for use in the summer months.

Facing north towards Newquay Bay and the town's central beaches, the second deck hosts a seven-person hot tub and a further four chairs surrounding a warming fire pit. Gather together around the table for alfresco feasts, sink into the bubble-topped hot tub and when day turns to evening, relax under cosy, blankety layers on the spacious sofa. The dreamiest way to welcome the night, turn your gaze skyward and watch as the light of countless stars reflects in the sapphire sea below. For added convenience, there is a lockable store for boards and wetsuits.

Setting

We would kindly ask guests to respect our neighbours and refrain from playing loud music outside or whilst in the hot tub or in the property. Azure Penthouse is not suitable for stag and hen parties or celebratory stays.

Parking

There are two gated, underground parking spaces at Azure Penthouse.

Babies and children

Babies and children are welcome at Azure Penthouse. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request.

Dogs

We are unable to welcome pets at Azure Penthouse, but please note that this retreat may not be suitable for guests with pet allergies.

Situated in one of the most vibrant towns in Cornwall, this charming seaside idyll creates the perfect backdrop to days of relaxation and exploration. For a real dose of coastal exhilaration, hire surfboards or book a surf lesson with local experts, including Fistral Beach Surf School, Surf Hire Newquay and Quiksilver Surf School, and experience the unforgettable rush of gliding along aquamarine waves. For family-friendly adrenaline, look forward to a guided coasteering excursion, or seek beachside simplicity with picnics and play along the shore of your favourite local beach (there are more than a dozen to choose from in Newquay alone). Younger families may enjoy the experience of Newquay Aquarium or Newquay Zoo.

If you would like to spend time exploring the surroundings on foot, branch onto the South West Coast Path and enjoy the sights of the coast. Or, follow the flow of streets into Newquay and peruse the panoply of beach shops, boutiques and bistros. To satiate your appetite after a day of adventure, secure a reservation at one of the culinary gems within half a mile of Azure Penthouse. Particular highlights, The Fish House, The Stable and Rick Stein's at Fistral are less than four hundred yards away from the doorstep. Equally as popular nearby is the Headland Hotel for its afternoon teas by the sea; meanwhile, in Newquay, Harbour Fish and Grill, The Red Lion pub, Box and Barber, and the seasonal Harbour Street Food are hard to resist.
