A lot of imagination and TLC has gone into the conversion of this former cart shed into a contemporary, glass-fronted unique luxury retreat complete with well thought out living areas, a woodburing stove and private parking. The Linhay is hidden away in an idyllic and private countryside location only minutes from the surf at Polzeath. The hipster-hangout Rock is five minutes' drive; or take the foot ferry across the estuary to Padstow.
The Linhay is all about open plan living complete with wood burning stove (there is central heating as well). There's a galley-style kitchen area with a dual fuel oven and gas hob, a fridge freezer, washing machine and a dining table and chairs. The sitting room space is next to the wood burning stove and has a super comfy sofa as well.
The Linhay is ideal for couples with the king-sized double at the far end of this studio retreat. A clever use of a bespoke handcrafted storage area separates the sleeping area from the sitting room, with the wood burning stove between the bed and the living area. You definitely have the feeling of a well-defined separate space, even in the open plan conversion.
The glass fronted Linhay looks out over a courtyard and towards the adjacent property The Mill House (it may be that you would want to rent both properties together for larger bookings). Tucked behind the Linhay is your own lawned garden area, surrounded by original Cornish stone walling and looking out over rolling countryside.
Allocated parking space for one car.
The Linhay is fully WiFi ready, so if you need to keep in touch with the outside world you can.
A dog is very welcome. We charge £30 per dog per week or short break.
