Living and eating
Lovingly transformed into a super cosy open plan luxury cottage, the minute you enter the beautifully furnished open plan living room with its high ceiling and ancient wooden beams you'll feel at home. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave for rustling up relaxed holiday meals and the dining area is perfect for lingering over a romantic dinner or two. There is a washer/dryer too. The linen sofas, piled with cushions from Mark Hearld and Jane Churchill, are perfect for cosying up by the toasty wood burner, a warming delight after days exploring the nearby coast.
With a galleried bedroom overlooking the living room below there's not far to go before you're snuggled in the wonderfully comfortable king size bed in this luxury retreat, and with silky smooth Egyptian cotton bed linens and cushions covered in gorgeous Osborne and Little fabrics, it'll probably take you all morning to get out of bed!
With easy access next to the bedroom, the shower room has a sumptuous double size shower cubicle with rain head shower, perfect for soaking under after a day of gallivanting.
Courtyard and Garden
The sitting area leads out to a cute courtyard garden just for you. Hide away from the rest of the world sheltered by an old Cornish hedge and enjoy this peaceful spot that's perfect for lazy morning breakfasts or evening glasses of fizz. And if you're feeling energetic? There's two and a half acres of beautifully planted gardens to explore, with spectacular views over rolling countryside and several tucked away areas with benches and seats where you can linger with a book or just relax and unwind with the only chatter coming from birds and bees.
There is parking for a car close to the cottage.
Cider House is fully WiFi ready, so if you need to keep in touch with the outside world you can.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. We charge £30 per dog per week or short break. Please note the courtyard isn't enclosed and dogs are to be on a lead at all times whilst in the grounds and gardens.
