Brimming with cosy corners and contemporary comforts, it sets the dreamiest scene for rural reveries. From idyllic moments bathing in the hot tub, to heavenly relaxation in front of the fire, to spectacular sundowners on the treetop terrace, pure magic resides here.

Living

In a timeless design, the open-plan living area contains a tranquil sanctuary with a lounge, kitchen, and dining area. A utopia of calm, it presents a cosy sofa and armchair ensemble gathered around a coffee table and set in front of a warming wood burning stove. Light-filled and airy, the room's soft hues and wooden details create a cool, relaxed space to recline in summer, and an ambient, cosy haven in winter for year-round tranquillity. To set the perfect soundtrack to your stay, a DAB radio and Sonos sound system are provided, while for nights of action, adventure and romance on the screen, there is a TV with access to streaming services.

Eating and dining

Laying a dreamy scene for lingering breakfasts and flavoursome dinners is Bluebell's open-plan kitchen and dining area. With everything you need for curating delicious meals, the kitchen features sage green units, paired with attractive open shelves and stylish lighting. At the centre of the room, a wood kitchen island with an inbuilt wine rack and drawers takes pride of place, coupled with wicker breakfast bar chairs topped with cushions.

Sleeping and bathing

The beautiful master suite features a super king bed dressed in fine linens and married with a whitewashed rattan ottoman bed end. Providing storage is a fitted wardrobe and an antique style chest of drawers with a chic grey finish. A period fireplace adds eye-catching detail, while lending space for creativity is an elegant writing desk. The room is finished with tasteful decorations and floral flourishes for a fresh, soothing feel.

Calling for restful days spent lounging, bedroom two offers a canopy bed with an elegant, exposed frame and medley of cushions and throws. In the corner, a quiet snug resides with an armchair and bookcase, perfect for moments of quietude curled up with a book. Bathed in neutral tones, this bedroom features a lovely garden-view window, cascading natural light across the room.

Bluebell has one bathroom decorated in a calming palette with natural textures and inflections. It features a large, walk-in rainfall shower with a separate shower head.

Outside space

Bask in the quietude of this rural abode and enjoy the curated garden spaces at Bluebell. Outside, the enclosed garden enjoys a suntrap aspect, sheltered by thick stone walls and reed fencing. For alfresco meals and moments in the sunshine, it features a table and chairs, as well as two Adirondack lounger chairs adorned with throws. Making mealtimes even more special is an outdoor pizza oven, ready for crafting stone-baked deliciousness. For soaks under starry skies, a private outdoor hot tub resides in the corner, illuminated by fairy lights. For those who like to be active there is a tennis court sunk into the hillside. To the front of Bluebell, a gorgeous, raised tree terrace platform seats two comfortable chairs and a side table, commanding views over the rolling countryside that surrounds this corner of Devonshire heaven.
