Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature

Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature

Taking place annually at the beginning of May, this week-long festival of literature welcomes writers, performers and entertainers from the UK and abroad to speak and perform in the lovely harbour side town of Fowey.

Running since 1997, Fowey’s literature festival is a lovely event which brings writers and performance artists from far and wide to talk and perform. Still faithful to their original inspiration, there also continues to be themed walks, book readings and debates based on Daphne du Maurier and her work.

Taking place in May and with a wide and varied selection of speakers, previous participants include John Suchet and Mitch Tonks.

In such a fabulous waterfront location with boat put-putting by, sea views and gorgeous shops and houses, Fowey is a lovely place to spend a break.
