This charming 14th century thatched pub is at the heart of this picturesque village and serves great food and hosts wide range of events for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
Winner of 2017/2018 Sawday’s Pub Award, The Ring of Bells serves traditional home-favourites from fish and chips to pan-friend gammon as well as some unique dishes such as ricotta malfatti and port carnitas in a pretzel bun. There is also a range of vegetarian options to enjoy, as well as a kid’s menu that comes in two different sizes to help your little one clear their plates. You can also sample some real ales straight from the pump, always changing but usually from local South West Breweries so you can experience the great taste of Devonian Ales here.
The Ring of Bells is also known for holding a variety of events including its annual beer festival which is held every May Day Bank Holiday. This is a great event to experience the relaxed atmosphere of this pub and village, and there’s plenty to do from the chicken wing challenge to live music to kid-friendly activities.
