Open throughout the week apart from Sundays, Jaded Palates is split into two levels. With a wine merchant downstairs, there is a huge variety of wines including red, white, rosé and sparklers available to buy all handpicked by Ian. A helpful team of staff are always on hand to offer bespoke advice whether you have a specific question or are just looking for general guidance. Learn all about the wines and where they come from, and let your eyes roam over the tempting selection of bottles on display.
Upstairs, a wine tasting venue offers a mouth-watering array for you to put your taste buds to the test. Allowing customers to bring in their own food and with a simple card system in place, you can choose your specific budget and decide how much and how many wines you’d like to try. With all sorts of wines and measures priced accordingly, you can enjoy a wide variety of flavours and maybe find a new favourite.
If you are not a great wine fan, Jaded Palates also offers a selection of local beers, ciders, gins and more so you are sure to find something to your liking. Whether you are a novice fan or seasoned connoisseur, head over to the shop and let yourself be surprised. You won’t find any of the wines available in the local supermarket, that’s for sure.
