Arriving at the Quarterdeck, the incredible sea views will be first to grab your attention. Overlooking Gerrans Bay, its unique setting rewards visitors with the most mesmerising panoramas, with a huge blue sea wrapping itself over the uninterrupted horizon. Take your time savouring the scenery, before turning your attention elsewhere. As you settle in, you’ll quickly realise there is much more to this restaurant than simply its location.
Bedecked in nautical décor and boasting huge windows that make the most of the picture-perfect scenes outside, the restaurant’s interiors are classically elegant yet utterly comfortable. Pick your spot in either the restaurant or dining area and pull up your chair as corks are popped and glasses are filled with satisfying glugs. Ready to tease your tongue, the restaurant’s extensive wine list parades handpicked wines from all around the world.

Firm supporters of West Country farmers and fishermen, the Quarterdeck’s ingredients are sourced much closer to home. Sourcing locally reared beef and seafood from the water’s around the Roseland Peninsula, along with a whole host of tasty local produce, you can expect the quality and taste it’s two AA rosettes have earned. In fact, with so much deliciousness on offer, your only problem will be choosing which dish to go for – but then, you can always come back for more!
Linger over your meal and chat away with your companions as light clouds drift above an azure sea. From the suntrap terrace, the views prove to be even more beautiful, setting the most idyllic backdrop before they finally pull you from your chair and lure you down to the beach for a post-meal stroll along the shore.
If you would like to visit the Quarterdeck, morning tea and coffee is served from 10am and light lunches are served from 12pm to 2.30pm, accompanied by a daily-changing table d'hôte menu from October to March. After lunch, afternoon tea can be enjoyed from 3pm to 5pm and dinner is served from 7pm until 9pm.
