This impressive dog friendly home stay lies on the approach into Mousehole and boasts stunning panoramic sea views that'll simply take your breath away. With gorgeous, spacious interiors which are chic yet laid back, this is a celebration of all things coastal and a perfect pad for families, friends or couples alike. The expansive veranda to the front just calls for lazy afternoons on sun loungers, gazing out to sea with a glass of something special in hand, whilst the fabulous location means you're a short walk to places to eat and the sandy beach. You're also ideally situated to explore the wonderfully unspoilt, natural beauty of West Cornwall and the amazing coastline.

Special 'Just for Two' rate

A special 'Just for Two' rate applies outside of school holidays, peak weeks, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year. At Seacrest the 'Just for Two' rate is 20% discount. Please note that only the Master bedroom will be available for you at this rate. Please call the office on 01872 553491 to book.

The peaceful sitting room has two delightfully squishy blue sofas in which to collapse on at the end of a busy day exploring or on the beach, with floor-to-ceiling bi-fold glass doors that open out on to the veranda - perfect for summery days. For cooler months, there's a fire to make things cosy whilst a television and DVD player means film nights - perfect!

Wow! You'll think you've died and gone to foodie heaven in Seacrest's astonishing kitchen. Not only is it super-stylish with sleek décor, cosy wood burner and eye-catching beech wood central island and breakfast bar, it's packed to the rafters with top-notch equipment too such as the five-ring, Three-oven Lacanche Range cooker and Quooker water boiler plus there's a double fridge, dishwasher and all the other facilities you'll need. You'll find the washing machine and tumble dryer in the nearby utility room.

The fabulous dining room is the perfect spot for long lunches or decadent dinners. With a large wooden table that easily seats six and sea views from the dual aspect windows, it's a peaceful, beautiful spot.

There are three beautiful, spacious bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom, resplendent with a modern four-poster king size bed is oh-so-romantic, and duel aspect windows overlook the sea, so you can gaze out over the water from the comfort of the bed. We just adore tiled original fireplace, and there's plenty of storage for clothes. The second and third bedrooms are both zip-an-link beds, meaning they each can be made into twin beds or a super king bed. Both have sea views from their windows and lots of storage.

You'll find the main bathroom upstairs which has a Japanese-style deep bath whilst downstairs there's a wet room with striking dark tiles and a shower. Both have heated rails to keep towels warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

The pretty garden is a real feature of this retreat, with a gorgeous, sweeping two-tiered wooden deck to the front of the property with panoramic sea views. To the side is a grassy lawn area with planting, whilst to the back there is a hammock for lazy sunny afternoons. You'll find a barbecue along with plenty of seating and a table for alfresco meals, whilst there's also two Adirondack style loungers.

There is private parking for one car to the back of the property whilst there is plenty of public, on street parking to the front.

A travel cot, highchair, stair gate, baby monitor and sterilizing kit is available on request. Please bring your own bedding for the cot.

Up to two well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Seacrest. We charge £35 per dog per week or short break.

Seacrest has WiFi so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can.

Wow - what a spot to stay in! There are simply tons of things to see and do right on your doorstep. Being in the wild west of Cornwall, head around towards Land's End and you'll find the Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre with the sea as it's backdrop. Make sure to see if a performance if you can. Head to Sennen for a spot of surfing and a bite to eat at one of the lovely cafes or follow the coastal road - one of the most picturesque stretches in Cornwall - around to St Ives, the artist hot-spot and iconic fishing town. Alternatively, head east and visit the famous fishing village of Newlyn and pick up some fresh fish to cook or try one of the up-and-coming eateries such as Mackerel Skies or Sound Pantry, or the fab Lovetts, a wine bar, café and bottle shop. Carry on and there's the famous town of Penzance - make sure to check out Jubilee Pool in the summer; a gorgeous Art Deco lido which uses seawater. Further along is iconic St Michael's Mount, a perfect day out where you can walk over to the Mount when the tide is low or catch the boat across when it's high. Further on there's the beautiful Praa Sands, a magnificent sandy beach, Porthleven, famed for its high-quality restaurants and finally the gorgeous Lizard Peninsula.

Big, beautiful and bold, this gorgeous retreat with astonishing sea views is the ultimate home stay for a seaside sojourn with wonderfully spacious interiors and a great garden.

The views from the house were incredible - we had an amazing holiday and will be back!!! Thank you

A fabulous house with everything you need and more. Amazing views, we even had some sunshine (in Feb) and managed to sit on the decking with a coffee enjoying the view. A wonderful stay at Seacrest. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time, would definitely recommend to friends and family. Beautiful house, lovely location. Stunning views.

We loved our stay at this spacious and clean property with all mod cons and incredible views. Its location is brilliant with the heart of beautiful Mousehole just a few minutes walk away. Would highly recommend - and return - in a heartbeat!

Excellent stay in fantastic property. Great outdoor space as well as fantastic inside especially the extremely well equipped kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious and well fitted out house. There are fabulous views of the sea from every room, and the centre of Mousehole with its great delis and restaurants is a lovely few minute walk away along the ocean path.

Fabulous views over Mounts Bay, and always a fishing boat or trawler to watch. Outside terraced area is a good spot to enjoy the sea air

Amazing house in an amazing location, we didn’t want to leave. Welcome hamper was a lovely surprise and was enjoyed

Excellent house, very stylishly presented. Lots of space for six. All spotless. We loved it.

A beautiful location, a very comfortable, well-organised and welcoming holiday home. Having breakfast or an evening drink on the terrace, watching the play of the sea with the ever-changing cloudscape is a pure pleasure. We left totally relaxed. What more could you ask?
