Set just a few steps away from the thriving heart of Padstow, this corker of a retreat sleeps four and offers seaside living at its best. Exquisitely furnished, Juniper is just perfect; with a different beach for every day of the week and excellent places to eat on your doorstep, its ideal for families, whilst the chic decor and proximity to fabulous restaurants makes it a perfect love nest for two.

Step into Juniper and you'll find yourself in the gorgeous open plan living area. Laid back and lovely, the pretty main space is true to its botanical theme with a soft grey sofa and matching chairs, highlighted in shades of green to compliment the plants that live there. With fascinating, carefully chosen antiques and collectables on the wall and in the cupboards, it's a tranquil escape from the bustling town outside and a haven to escape to at the end of the day.

The kitchen lies at the far end of the downstairs living area and comes complete with breakfast bar perfect for wake-me-up coffees and big breakfasts. Of course there are restaurants galore just outside the front door, but if you decide to cook at home Juniper's kitchen is filled with everything you'll need to cook a feast. Why not pick up some super-fresh seafood straight from the fishermen themselves in Padstow harbour? Outside there's a lovely little courtyard with table and chairs for a spot of al fresco dining too.

There are two sumptuous en suite bedrooms at Juniper. The master bedroom is a beautiful space with a king sized bed covered in super-soft throws, cushions and linens to ensure a good nights' sleep. We particularly love the gorgeous fern-themed wallpaper. The second bedroom is a zip and link bed which means they can either be set up as twin beds or kept together as a super king. Again, everything in this room evokes calmness and relaxation with beautiful hotel quality bedding.

There's no fighting over the bathrooms as each bedroom has an en suite shower room complete with walk in rainfall shower. Heated towel rails ensure towels are kept fluffy and warm so there's no problems with an invigorating wake-up shower in the morning and a drench in the evening to wash the sea salt away.

Outside space

There's a pretty courtyard garden with decking to ensure you get to make the most of the seaside sunshine on your holiday. A table and chairs means you can take breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. There's a handy outdoor shower too so you can wash wetsuits and sandy toes after a day on the beach.

Juniper welcomes babes in arms and children who are aged over 5, please call to book babies in.

One well behaved dog is very welcome at Juniper, we charge £35 per dog per week or short break.

There is WiFi throughout Juniper so if you need to keep in touch with the outside world you can.

Parking is available nearby public car parks, The Lawns or the Station Car parks in Padstow.

Where to begin? Padstow is a fantastic destination whatever your interests. For beach lovers, you're spoilt for choice - Padstow has a different beach for every day of the week, each of them sandy and gorgeous. For surf lovers, head to Polzeath, whilst water sports are plentiful on the Camel Estuary.

If you prefer to keep to dry land, the Camel Trail is excellent for walking, running and cycling whilst the coastal path offers stunning sea views and interesting climbing along the rugged north Cornish coastline.

Padstow is famously well represented when it comes to places to eat - you'll not be stuck for great restaurants and cafes, with the likes of Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth in residence. However, eating out in Padstow is so popular it is well worth booking in advance. Head to the harbour if you like to cook yourself and pick up some fresh fish straight off of the boat - delicious!
