The kitchen is also home to a kitchen dining table for informal meals, whilst in the living area there's a more formal dining table and chairs - perfect for celebrations and get togethers.

Sleeping and bathing

There are three bedrooms to choose from, one of which is in its own annex, across the courtyard. The master en suite bedroom has a delightful wrought iron bed knobs-and-broomstick king sized bed, complete with dual aspect windows making this a bright, airy room with touches of regal purple. There's a chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and hanging space for clothes, whilst the en suite is a shower room. The second bedroom is a countryside-inspired twin room, where forest greens create a calming ambience, and dual aspect windows offer views over Padstow. This room has a built-in wardrobe with a chest of drawers to stow clothes away in - a perfect room for children or adults alike. This room has use of the family bathroom, which has a bath with shower overhead. The third en suite bedroom lies in its own annex, and boasts a charming white wrought iron double bed, built- in storage and en suite shower room - a great bedroom for those seeking their own space away from the main house. All beds come swathed in luxurious linens and bedding, whilst the bath and shower rooms have heated rails to keep towels warm and fluffy.

Secret Beaches in Cornwall

Cornwall is adored for its coastline, decorated with secret beaches and secluded coves at the foot of quiet hamlets and hidden between lofty cliffs.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Kendra:

Kendra is a delight, every bit as special as the description, only 3 mins to shops & harbour although may be a tiny bit challenging for those less able (but that’s Padstow), a really lovely Cornish cottage with all modern touches, we would definitely book again

We really enjoyed staying here with our friends, the cottage is cosy, well decorated, comfortable and the location is wonderful as you are in the very heart of Padstow but just far enough to have the peace and tranquility of Prideaux Place on your doorstep. Thank you for having us! X
