Settled in a lovely hamlet just a short stroll away from the secluded Pendower Beach, this is a ravishing seaside delight and a charming semi detached family retreat which offers the peace and tranquillity of the South Cornish coast, whilst being just a short drive from popular destinations such as the cathedral city of Truro and the food and art hub of Falmouth. The spacious and carefully appointed open-plan living upstairs makes the most of the panoramic countryside views, as well as looking over the ample garden.
Living

Step through the front door and head up the stairs to the beautifully light and open-plan living space, with a cosy log-burner nestled in the centre. To the left-hand side, you'll find yourself in the high-ceiling living area, a perfect space for taking it easy after a long day of exploration and sight-seeing. Relax on the sumptuous sofas or lounge on the stylish chaise longue with a glass of wine whilst taking in the spectacular views from the floor to ceiling French doors which lead out to the balcony. Across the landing, past the pretty window seat, is a second lounge - an entertainment room. This space is perfectly to occupy the kids as it's fitted with a TV, a PlayStation, a selection of DVDs, books, and children's toys.

Eating

On the right side of the log burner in the living space, opposite the living room, you will find the modern yet stylish kitchen and dining area. Beautifully appointed and well equipped, this grey and wood kitchen has everything a culinary chef could ask for including a gas hob, two electric ovens, a blender, a Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of workspace. Enjoy your morning coffee and croissant at the tasteful breakfast bar with stylish wooden and wrought iron stools or gather around the country-style dining table and tuck into a delicious meal with the whole family.

Sleeping

On the ground floor, to the left of the stairs as you enter the property, you will find four stylish and modern bedrooms. The master room is an exquisite super king, with plenty of storage space, with en-suite as well as French doors which lead up and out to the garden. There is another super king which shares the family bathroom with the cute children's triple bunkroom, plus an additional king with an en-suite.

Bathing

The master bedroom and the king bedroom both have en-suite wet rooms with waterfall shower heads. The two other bedrooms share a gorgeous blue and marble effect family bathroom which boasts a deep bath and spacious shower.

Outdoor space

The raised garden at the back of the property is ideal for soaking up the Cornish sunshine and making the most of the stunning landscape and sea views. The patio area, surrounded by lush greenery compromises of an outdoor picnic style dining table, as well as a fire pit - perfect for sitting out in the late evenings with nibbles and a glass of bubbly. The lawn area next to the patio has plenty of space for the kids to run around in and for you to lay out a blanket and bask in the lovely weather.

In the Area

This divine family retreat is ideally located on the Roseland Peninsula and is perfect for exploring the South Coast of Cornwall. Just a 10 minute walk away is Pendower Beach, which you can access across the cow field. This is wonderfully sandy with plenty of rock pools to paddle in with the littles ones. Further afield is Portcurnick beach, a small and sheltered bay where you can enjoy the culinary delights of the Hidden Hut. Take a trip down to Portscatho, a pretty, little fishing village which has uninterrupted views of Cornish coastline or visit the yacht-centric St Mawes. Both of these lovely picturesque destinations boast coastal pubs, unique restaurants and local shops for you to explore and experience. Pendower Beach House is also just a drive from the bustling city of Truro, the capital of Cornwall, where you can find high-street brands such as The White Company, Monsoon and Waterstones. With lots of independent cafes, restaurants as well as the impressive Cathedral, there is plenty to do for a day out in town. Further South, you will find the seaside Town of Falmouth - filled with a variety of restaurants, unique stores and gorgeous ocean views which you can drive to or alternatively you can get there on the King Harry Ferry from St Mawes.

Short breaks:
  • Mid Week Breaks (Mon to Fri) cost 75% of the weekly rate.
  • Long Weekends (Fri to Mon) cost 75% of the weekly rate.

  • A 13 deposit & £30 booking fee secures your dates.
  • Payment of balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday starts.
  • There is a charge of £30 per pet per week or short break
