The love felt for Dreamcatcher can be felt throughout, with all the original features - from the stained glass windows to the beautiful gallery in the master bedroom - made to shine once again in the light and airy surroundings. Surrounded by lush gardens and rolling farmland beyond, it's a perfect rural idyll less than 10 minutes' drive from the sea.

The main living room is on the first floor and is extremely spacious. Exposed wooden floors have been painted a glossy dove grey and two huge, plump sofas, strewn with cushions, nestle at its centre. There are also a couple of lovely soft bean bag seats to snuggle down on, perfect for watching the flames flickering in the huge wood burner that dominates the room or the large TV with Sky HD, Sky Movies, Netflix and Blu-ray player. There are plenty of artefacts and curios around the room alongside some bespoke furniture pieces that complete the room perfectly. Downstairs, you'll find the library, which would have been the front of the church originally. This is a stunning room with a fantastically ornate stained glass window, a gallery (part of the master bedroom), more comfy seating, an additional table that seats six, Sonos system and huge industrial-style shelving holding interesting curios such as old optician test charts!

The kitchen and dining area, located in the former Sunday School, is really rather special. With original flagged flooring throughout, you'll find the original wood burner which keeps the space wonderfully warm. The kitchen is large and spacious, with dusky grey cabinets and smooth wooden work surfaces and reclaimed wooden shelving. There's a 5-ring stainless steel range oven and hob, perfect for cookery aficionados, and a smart black 50's style fridge. It's fantastically well stocked with equipment too, so you'll never be left searching for a corkscrew - keep an eye out for the fabulous vintages pieces too. A lovely dining table, perfect for supper parties, lies across the rest of the room with two comfy chairs, perfect for those wanting to watch the chef at work! For the summer months, there's an outdoors kitchen too, ideal for those balmy nights when only a BBQ will do and a chilled glass of something special....just sit back and take in the views.

There are four generous bedrooms with the master bedroom being the jewel of the house. Situated on the first floor, it has an open gallery which looks over the library below and is really rather romantic. The king-size bed, warm rugs, soft throws, lovely lighting and the stained glass windows give the room a gorgeous feel.

Bedroom 1 with zip and link beds (6' double or twin beds), TV with Sky HD and Blu-Ray player. Bedroom 2 with zip and link beds (6' double or twin beds) and en suite shower room. Bedroom 3 (master) with kingsize bed. Bedroom 4 with twin beds. The attic bedroom (Bedroom 4) is only accessed from Bedroom 3 and is accessed via a steep loft style ladder so is most suitable for children aged 6 and over. It benefits from a huge Velux window which has stunning views over the countryside.

There is a family room with bath and flower head shower, and an en suite shower-room attached to one of the downstairs bedrooms. The attention to detail is fantastic, with taps in the style of a traditional pump, lovely Belfast sinks and wood-effect tiles. The toiletries are handmade and local.

The enclosed cottage garden is a beautiful space complete with outdoor kitchen, fire pit, plenty of seating and two natural ponds. As the sun sets over your very own dream day, the awe-inspiring landscape provides the backdrop for the stars. Sit snuggled outside by the open fire pit with a warming drink as wave after wave of stars illuminate the deep velvet sky.

Tucked away at the far end of the garden is a hidden pagoda, it's the ideal place to enjoy wonderful views towards Mount's Bay in perfect tranquility over a morning coffee, children will love to use it as a den for their imaginations to enjoy. A perfect way to enjoy your luxury family holiday in Cornwall.

As you would expect from a luxury holiday property, it is fully equipped with an electric range with induction hob, two large fridge/freezers, a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier, central heating, two wood burners and for entertainment; a Sonos sound system, Netflix, 2 Sky HD package TVs and 2 Blu-Ray DVD players, high speed fibre to the home broadband and a fully stocked library. A travel cot, highchair and two stairgates are available on request. On arrival you’ll find a welcome hamper with all the essentials for an evening snack and your first breakfast, the perfect way to start to unwind.

Dreamcatcher is in the perfect area for walks with your dogs and the garden at the retreat is enclosed. Two dogs are welcome, we charge £30 per dog per week or short break.

There is superfast fibre to the home broadband and an iPad is provided for guests' use.

Nestled in the heart of the West Cornwall peninsular, this luxury accommodation is ideally placed for accessing the coastal path, beaches and natural beauty of the north, south and west coasts. Mousehole, Porthcurno, Sennen Cove, Portheras Cove, Marazion and Porthchapel are all within 15 minutes drive, and the beaches of St Ives and Hayle just 30 minutes away, you are spoilt for choice.

Walk or drive to a great local pub 2.5 miles away, which offers a warm welcome and good pub food. Enjoy something more sophisticated, in nearby Mousehole, or St Ives which offer a wide range of high quality restaurants and bars. Do make sure you don’t miss out on fish and chips in the nearby fishing village of Newlyn, followed by a Jelbert’s ice cream, topped with Cornish clotted cream in warmer months. For unreserved decadence, why no book one of our handpicked private chefs to come and cook a feast from locally sourced delicacies in your kitchen.

'Great location, lovely decor and easy to find' - September 2017

'Thank you for a wonderful stay at Dreamcatcher! This is one of the loveliest places we have stayed in - inspirational rooms with fabulous attention to detail, beautiful stained glass windows with views across the fields to St.Michael's Mount, a dreamy summerhouse at the end of a fragrant and magical garden - Dreamcatcher captured our hearts, perfect! (It would also be the most amazing secret place to get married!)' - June 2016

'My family loved spending our long weekend away from London here and even the children agreed it was totally worth the drive. From the property we could walk for miles and the girls got some real use out of their bikes (for once) and tried horse riding for the first time. Such a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the city and our few days felt like forever. We were very sad to leave!' - March 2016

'I must say the house was immaculate on another level and the attention to detail was perfect and made the stay more enjoyable too, basically the house is a dream. The summer will be a great one for this house, it has everything anyone could need to stay and bbq's will be awesome with that view. It's the best house I've stayed in, and I look forward to staying again soon so I can venture a bit more' - February 2016
