The patinated wooden floor, large charcoal sofa and armchairs come together beautifully and offer the ideal setting for lazy afternoons, whilst there's table football tucked away in an alcove and a full-sized shuffleboard in the hallway, for those who like a bit of competition! There's also Bluetooth speakers, to ensure you can play the soundtrack to your holiday.

In addition, there's a snug with huge 65-inch television, PlayStation 4, large sofa and chairs and glorious sea views - perfect for those seeking a quiet spot to catch up with a book, or it's a great den for children away from the parents!

Upstairs you'll also discover a study - ideal if you need to catch up on emails or need to make your stay a bit of a workcation.

Eating

For those that love to create in the kitchen, Seacliff certainly doesn't disappoint. With stunning white surfaces and cupboards and a large central island, there's plenty of space to whizz up feasts for your loved ones. There's a double electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave plus all the other essentials you'll need including that all-important wine cooler. In the utility, you'll find a washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

Leading off from the kitchen lies the dining room, with large table easily seating ten. Patio doors lead out into the garden, meaning they can be kept open on warm days to let the warm sea air breeze through.

Sleeping

There are five stunning bedrooms to choose from.

The en suite master bedroom lies on the first floor to the front of the house and boasts a seriously romantic, super king-sized four-poster bed with incredible views out to sea. Open the fabulous bi-fold glass doors and step out on to the wonderful balcony - on hot summer nights leave the door open to let the soft sea breeze gently lull you to sleep, whilst on stormy days watch the breath-taking spectacle from the comfort of bed. This exquisite bedroom also has a walk-in wardrobe and an en suite with huge walk in shower.

The second bedroom also lies to the front on the first floor and has a stunning king-sized bed, sea views, chest of drawers and hanging space. The third bedroom on the first floor has a double bed, hanging space, chest of drawers and garden views.

The fourth bedroom lies on the ground floor to the front, with super comfy double bed and French windows that lead out on to a private balcony with sea views. The fifth bedroom is also downstairs but to the back of the house and has bunk beds - a lovely quiet bedroom for little ones!

All the beds come swathed in 300 thread count linens, sumptuous bedding and luxurious cushions and throws to ensure a blissful nights' sleep.

Bathing

As well as the en suite shower room in the master bedroom, there's an upstairs bathroom with bath and shower, a downstairs shower room and an outside shower with hot water - perfect for washing sandy toes after being on the beach! Each room has a heated rail to ensure towels are kept warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

To the front of the property lies a tiered garden with a sun-soaked terrace leading from the sitting room with gorgeous sea views - the perfect spot to pull up a chair and enjoy a morning coffee or sundowners. Head to the back and there's a raised wooden terrace with table and chairs and two Weber barbeques for alfresco dining, plus additional seating to relax in and enjoy the sunshine.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Seacliff:

Wow…..take me back now! The views are amazing, really makes you feel like your in Greece not Devon. The house has everything covered, I don’t think I heard one complaint from any of the teenagers! Miracles do happen! Kids did their jet ski license, quad biking, paddle boarding, sea Safari tour. So much going on to get involved in. We will definitely return to seacliff.

An absolutely beautiful house, surrounded by stunning views. Everything we wanted was thought of, and to an incredibly high standard too- we felt very spoilt.

Seacliff is fabulous - beautifully done with care in every detail. Lots of fun and relaxation to be had in the house and around Shaldon and we’d love to return in the Summer to make full use of this perfect retreat.
