Living
The delightful sitting room has the most stunning outlook, overlooking pretty King Suttons church. There is a three-seater velvet sofa with six down filled cushions and a cosy blanket on which to sprawl on and relax, whilst there's also a love seat (shipped over from Brown Thomas in Dublin), made for curling up together on amongst the squashy cushions and a blanket. There's also a reading chair for quiet moments alone with that book you've been meaning to read. There is a huge sheepskin rug in which to sink toes and a flickering wood burning stove to keep you toasty warm.
There is also a stunning, Victorian-inspired study with a desk should you need to catch up on any work - or a moment or two of quiet contemplation - with two gorgeous leather chairs.
Eating
The pretty country kitchen is surprisingly spacious and has everything you could possibly need to rustle up a feast for you and your beloved. At its heart is a glorious bottle green Aga with two hobs - a dream to cook on whist keeping the kitchen toasty room. In addition, there's plenty of space to prep with worksurfaces and a central island. Other equipment includes a separate hob with two rings, microwave, dishwasher, Dualit appliances, a juicer, steamer and the all-important Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother. A little padded bench by the Aga provides a little reading nook.
The kitchen island has a little breakfast bar for quick snacks (or for perching on whilst watching the cook at work!). The dining room is home to a good-sized table with four chapel chairs with Susie Watson seat pads. There is a French chest of drawers with table mats and extra cloths should you need them.
In addition, there's a utility room with a washing machine.
Sleeping
The oh-so-romantic bedroom lies upstairs and comes complete with a king-sized bed, swathed beautifully in luxurious bedding, such as the silk Soak and Sleep duvet and organic Dip and Doze bed linen, as well as sumptuous throws and cushions to ensure a blissful nights' sleep. Lying in bed, you can gaze out of the window and watch the trees sway hypnotically with the breeze - you'll never want to get up and breakfast in bed is a must! Decorated in soft greys and blues, at the bottom of the bed sits a chaise, whilst there's an occasional chair and table, perfect for getting ready for the day. In addition, there's a large chest of draws whilst in the gorgeous dressing room there's a French armoire, large full-length mirror and occasional chair.
Bathing
There's a lovely shower room with Fired Earth shower with additional hand-held shower, plus a heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy. The White Company bathrobes are also provided for extra cosiness. Downstairs, you'll find a wet room in the utility room.
Outdoor space
Step outside and there's a sun-soaked courtyard waiting to be discovered. There are two Edwardian garden chairs with a beautiful wood and metal Victorian table, offering plenty of room for alfresco meals and reading papers with your morning coffee. In addition, there are two steamer chairs with full length cushions and with extra cushions for when sun worshipping is the order of the day. There is also a barbecue and a small fire pit - perfect for toasting marshmallows under the star-filled sky, whilst a bubbling hot tub awaits to welcome you into its sumptuous depths. The courtyard is completely enclosed with very high stone walls, so your four-legged friends have the freedom to explore.
