Welcome to Verdun, a piece of paradise made for couples wanting a seaside escape away from it all. With beautifully considered interiors, underfloor heating throughout and in muted shades of creamy whites and greys, this is a love pad for stylish couples wanting a blissful coastal home, complete with hot tub, fire pit, decking and floor-to-ceiling glass windows - plus it's dog friendly too.
Living and eating
The stunning dining and living area is bijoux and beautiful, with the fully-equipped kitchen to the back and the dining area and living space to the front to make the most of the sea views. In the seating area, there's a Loaf sofa and chair, complete with coffee table, situated close to the floor-to-ceiling glass doors - cosy and warm in winter, or pulled back and open in summer. In addition, there's a Smart TV with full sky package and sound system to entertain when the sun sets. Indoor meals can be taken at the cute poseur table and chairs. The galley-style kitchen comes complete with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, retro-style fridge-freezer, Dualit fresh bean to cup coffee machine and all the other equipment you might need to rustle up romantic meals for two. In addition, you'll find a fabulous summer house at the top of the garden, complete with super-sweet retro fridge, sink with running water, kettle (perfect for afternoon tea) and two comfy seats looking out over the far-reaching sea and countryside views.
Sleeping and bathing
The stunning en suite bedroom lies through industrial-style glass doors which let in plenty of light and has a sumptuous king size bed swathed in luxurious French linens, throws and cushions. In addition, there's an eye-catching tall boy and wardrobe offering plenty of storage. The en suite has a walk-in rainfall shower, gorgeous stone sink and heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy.
Outdoor space
To make the most of the epic views, there's an immense wooden deck that extends out towards the sea, housing two easy loungers for sunny afternoons, Weber BBQ and a table and four chairs - ideal for meals with a view. Take the steps to the side of the property that lead to a further garden; the middle level has a table and chairs for a spot of alfresco dining and a fire pit (with plenty of forks for roasting marshmallows) and a chestnut roaster, ending with a fabulous wooden top deck complete with loungers, hot tub and outdoor shower. You will also find the perfectly placed summer house at the top of the garden with fridge, bluetooth speaker and seating for two.
