Settled in the postcard-worthy village of Drewsteignton in Dartmoor's National Park, you'll find plenty of cosy pubs to gather in the nearby area, whilst endless untamed moorland lies waiting to be discovered by countryside adventure seekers.
Living
For the lovers of cosy cottage corners, uncover the adorable living space, beautifully adorned in neutral tones with flourishes of florals. From white-washed walls and characteristic beams to an exposed stone inglenook fireplace aglow with the flickering flames from the charming wood burning stove - this pretty hideout is a dreamlike space to unwind. A glass dining table with two wicker armchairs await for candlelit feasting, whilst a plump sofa and armchair beckon for homely evenings fireside. Under the bamboo OKA coffee table, you'll find classic board games for your amusement, along with a Robert's radio and Smart TV with Netflix. Sojourn also has a Sonos sound system throughout the cottage.
Eating
Romantically rustic with cream toned bespoke cabinets and handmade Marrakech tiling by Fired Earth, the snug kitchen with underfloor heating awaits for budding chefs. Whether you're morning musing over fresh coffee perched in the window seat or savouring homecooked brunches at the breakfast bar, this space is a heavenly space to dwell and dine. You'll find all you should need during your staycation, including a range with a ceramic hob, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine, a champagne fridge, a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser, and a Nutri-bullet.
In the boot room, you'll also find a tumble dryer and an additional freezer.
Sleeping and bathing
Dressed in soft whites and pastel tones with charming cottage windows looking out towards the enchanting Dartmoor countryside, the darling master bedroom is home to a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, an antique distressed chest of drawers, a fitted wardrobe, and a pale pink chesterfield occasional chair. Additionally, there is the divine addition of a Smart TV for watching films whilst snuggled in cloud-like linens, whilst the charming en suite lies adjacent, where a shower with a rainfall head can be found, together with White Company toiletries and towels.

Both bathroom spaces also have heated rails for keeping towels warm and fluffy.

Whether you're wistfully foraging for homegrown berries and pears, or seeking romantic meals alfresco under atmospheric skies, this verdant sanctuary with striking water features has plenty of corners to unwind and wander. At the edge of the garden, the fairy light-adorned Bower House offers an Ooni pizza oven, a cosy corner sofa, a table for two, and in summer, a Paella burning stove. Tucked under a large tree, a magical flower house is a serene outdoor reading nook. You'll also find two sun loungers for summer snoozing.
In the boot room, you will find a selection of coats and wellies - perfect for use when roaming Dartmoor's breath-taking landscapes.

In North Bovey, the beautiful country house Bovey Castle offers a choice of fine or relaxed dining menus, along with unique experiences such as cider making and clay pigeon shooting, or alternatively head to the historic Ring O Bells for organic farm to fork dishes. The Horse in Mortonhampstead promises a Michelin recommended traditional menu alongside authentic Italian pizza or venture off the beaten track to Widecombe to find the Rugglestone Inn, where you can savour delectable dishes accompanied by local ducks. Notable days out include gentle strolls around nearby Castle Drogo, a visit to the iconic chalky-white turrets of Haldon Belvedere, or roam the picturesque sands at Ness Cove in Shaldon.
