Foodies will find a plethora of excellent restaurants, country inns, cafes, and tea rooms to satisfy, whilst the chalky landscape makes it perfect for vineyards, so expect wineries galore such as Balfour and Chapel Down. 

For shopping, you’re spoilt for choice with the spa town of Tunbridge Wells being a particular favourite with the chic independent shops along the Pantiles a must for perusing.
