Special 'Just for Two' rate

Eco Escapism
Cedar is part of The Emerald, an award-winning development which is the only truly zero carbon holiday destination in the country having been awarded Code 6 status, the highest possible grading for eco efficiency. Within the five acres of shared grounds is a solar farm which generates all the energy The Emerald needs and more. There is also a useful Tesla charging point for electric cars at The Emerald (please bring your own adaptor for other makes). The owners politely ask that you state on arrival if you plan to take advantage of this service as it is chargeable.
Living and eating
The Gatehouse has a big open plan living room, a lovely space for holiday togetherness where you can cook, eat and relax in harmony. It has a high vaulted ceiling with massive wooden beams and industrial-style lamps, big comfortable sofas and French doors opening onto a south-facing terrace overlooking the orchard. The lovely Shaker kitchen area in this luxury cottage in Cornwall has limestone flooring with under-floor heating, granite work surfaces and a big island unit. With all the kit you need for cooking plus the extras, including an espresso pod machine, you'll find holiday catering a doddle. There is Smart TV with Netflix, perfect for kiddies' programmes, catch-up TV and family film nights, and an iPod dock for streaming your favourite music.
Sleeping
The Gatehouse has two beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super-kingsize double bed with electronic independently controlled adjustable mattresses, perfect for finding that perfect sleeping position. The second bedroom has zip-and-link beds that can be made up as twins or another super-kingsize bed, so ideal for couples or two sleeping separately.
Bathing
The family bathroom has under-floor heating and a luxurious double-ended claw-foot bath and the en suite shower room has a double walk-in drench-head shower.
Indoor swimming pool and gym
There is a swimming pool and gym (available at all times) and an all weather outdoor tennis court (with coaching available for all skill levels from an experienced national level player/coach) and children's play area. These easily accessible facilities are shared with the other four eco houses that form The Emerald, the only award-winning truly zero carbon holiday destination in the country.
Spa room
For an extra heavenly experience, there is spa room onsite which offers a luxurious range of bespoke massages and treatments, including Caci treatments. Please do get in touch if this is something you wish to arrange.
Garden
The Gatehouse has its own terrace overlooking the orchard. There are five acres of mature woodland and beautifully maintained grounds to explore as well. There is also a private hot tub in the garden for you to enjoy.
Parking
There is parking for two cars right outside the door.
Dogs
Two dogs are very welcome. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
