Exuding luxury and calm with four spacious bedrooms, an open plan living room, snug and two dining spaces, there's plenty of curated corners for socialising indoors. Outside, you'll find a large alfresco dining table, with the addition of two sun loungers and a bubbling hot tub for moonlit dips beneath the cosmos. Venture to nearby Port Isaac, just a five-minute drive from Peregrine, with its beautiful harbour and award-winning seafood restaurants. Soak up the rugged beauty of the north Cornish coast, with Port Gaverne a leisurely two mile walk from Peregrine and Tintagel only a short distance by car. Visit Rock, only a fifteen-minute drive away, where you can take the ferry to picture-perfect Padstow, famous for its Rick Stein restaurants, boutique shops and bustling harbour. For fun-filled days by the ocean, visit nearby Polzeath with sandy shores and excellent surf.
Living
In an open plan design, the living area is a calming space to reside, awash with colour in soothing shades, with a striking velvet antique upholstered sofa and three additional armchairs for sociable evenings gathered in front of the Smart TV. Pooky lighting sets the scene for cosy moments with your favourite tipple, poured from the antique drinks trolley, a wonderful addition to this darling space.
Residing off the living room is an inviting snug, colour drenched in shades of plum for a cinematic feel. With the addition of a large Smart TV, sound bar and corner sofa dressed in complementary cushions and throws, this cosy space creates the perfect ambience for nights of movie magic.
Eating and dining
In a modern Shaker style, the kitchen is a bright and airy space for preparing feasts, fully equipped with an induction hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave and American style fridge freezer. You'll also find a Ninja air fryer, boiling water tap and additional mod-cons such as a blender and electric whisk. A washing machine and tumble drier can be found in the adjoining utility room.
Beside the kitchen, there's a round dining table that seats six for slow-paced mornings with fresh pastries and brewed beverages. At the far side of the living space, you'll find an additional mango wood dining table which comfortably seats eight, with a trio of linen pendant lighting overhead, promising a serene setting for mealtimes gathered together. Board and card games can be found in the sideboard beside the dining table for post-dinner entertainment, with the addition of smart speakers in the living room, kitchen and master bedroom for soundtracking your favourite holiday playlists.
Sleeping and bathing
There are four beautiful bedrooms on the first floor. Carefully curated fabrics and furniture give each bedroom their own distinctive style, dressed in cloud-soft linens with plush throws and cushions in complementary tones.
In soothing shades of blue, the sumptuous master bedroom boasts a super king size bed with an elegant headboard that pairs beautifully with a skirt, cushions, and curtains in floral print. Pooky lamps rest on a pair of soft pink chest of drawers, offering ample space for storing belongings. You'll also find a wardrobe, armchair and dressing table for pampering moments. Completing the master bedroom is an ensuite shower room, with dual sinks and a large walk-in shower positioned beside a heated towel rail.
The second bedroom is a calming space to relax at the end of the day, dressed in gentle tones of pink and blue, with a king size bed complete with an ocean inspired headboard, plus cushions and lamps in harmonizing shades. For storage, you'll find a wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table complete with a stool. There's also an ensuite shower room with a large walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
Boasting striking red walls, bedroom three has a king size bed with a teal patterned headboard. A large, mirrored wardrobe, bedside tables and a chest of drawers provide plenty of space for storing treasures. Shared with the fourth bedroom, the family bathroom can be found across the landing, with tiles in shades of blue, a large freestanding bath and walk-in rainfall shower. There's also a heated towel rail to keep towels fluffy and warm.
In tones of green and red, the fourth bedroom beckons for blissful slumbers with a zip-and-link super king size bed which can be made up as twins offering flexible sleeping arrangements. A wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables offer storage for your belongings, and for night-time reading, you'll find lamps either side of the beds. Next door, you'll find the family bathroom, which is shared with the third bedroom.
Downstairs, an additional shower room can be found beside the utility room, with the addition of a heated towel rail.
Outdoor space
Outside, you'll find a dreamy patio with a dining table for eight and a parasol, promising a heavenly spot for shaded alfresco feasts prepared on the charcoal barbeque. As the sun sets, retreat to the bubbling hot tub for moments of calm beneath the stars, positioned before a bed of beautiful wildflowers. Two sun loungers also reside on the patio for soaking up the sun with your favourite timeless tipple. For families, you'll also find a selection of children's toys, plus a windbreak for spending days on sandy shores.
Next door there is a traditional Cornish pub, with local beers, great food and a glorious pub garden.
Parking
There is parking for up to two cars on the driveway at Peregrine, with the addition of a charging point for electric vehicles.
Babies and children
Babies and children are most welcome at Peregrine. A travel cot, highchair, stair gate and children's crockery and cutlery are available on request.
Dogs
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Peregrine. Dog bowls, a bed, blankets and towels are provided. You'll also find an outdoor tap for washing muddy paws. Please note, there is a fee per dog, per week or short break.
In the Area
Peregrine is only five minutes away from the scenic fishing village of Port Isaac, renowned for being home to the shanty singers, Fisherman's Friends and the popular TV show, Doc Martin. Visit The Mote and the Michelin starred Outlaw's Fish Kitchen for freshly caught seafood. The Golden Lion Inn is also worth visiting for delicious meals with a breathtaking backdrop of the sea. Walk from Port Isaac to the pretty bay of Port Gaverne, where the award-winning Pilchards Café awaits with a seafood inspired menu of small and larger plates. For adventure seekers, coasteering at Port Gaverne is well worth experiencing, with some of the best caves, climbs and jumps into inviting turquoise waters. You can also enjoy a leisurely walk from Peregrine to Port Gaverne, which is only around two miles away via a serene footpath. Explore the history of King Arthur at Tintagel, under twenty minutes away by car. Bude is also only half an hour away, with its vast tidal pool and lovely town. Polzeath is only ten minutes from Peregrine, with golden sandy shores and rolling waves perfect for surfers of all abilities. A half hour's drive will find you in Padstow, with its bustling harbour perfect for crabbing, plus a host of boutiques and award-winning restaurants.
