We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about St Nectan:

A wonderful cottage in a great area. Will definitely come back again!

Beautiful location even with the stormy weather. As we were staying at the cottage for Christmas the owners of the cottage very kindly put up Christmas tree and decorations which we really appreciated, and we were given a warm welcome too at the church for the Christmas Eve service.

A first class cottage, very comfortable and in a beautiful setting.

This was a charming retreat. Spectacular ,restful and extremely well cared for. The owners were charming.

This is a beautiful and comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. We would definitely return.

Felt instantly "on holiday" & relaxed as soon as we stepped into the cottage. Lovely touches that made you feel at home instantly, tea/coffee & biscuits a nice welcome :)

Just Lovely. Shame we probably won’t be able to visit again as we were only able to book our week due to Covid wedding cancellations.

A lovely, clean and well-appointed cottage surrounded by beautiful forest and stream. Emma, the owner, was very helpful and we really enjoyed ourselves exploring the area. Would recommend the cottage to our family and friends.

'Beautiful cottage. I want to redecorate my whole house in the soothing and tranquil tones. Everything of a very high spec. Quiet enough to feel totally surrounded by countryside (deer, foxes, all manner of birds including owls etc) yet 3 AMAZING pubs within walking distance across fields and easy access to both English Riviera coast and Dartmoor. Perfect. It was a 9:10 hols only losing 1 Mark because you need nerves of steel to drive those Devon lanes!' - October 2020
