Living

The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day after a busy day exploring. With a window overlooking the pretty front garden, large leather sofas invite you to be lazy whilst the wood burner is just what you need to create a cosy ambience. For film nights and catching up on box sets, there's a large Smart television, along with a Bluetooth speaker.

Eating

The gorgeous kitchen and dining area must be the heart of this amazing home. The kitchen is perfectly set up for larger gatherings with a large Falcon range cooker with gad hob and electric oven, two Smeg fridge freezers, dishwasher and the all-important bean-to-cup coffee machine. There's a breakfast bar too for on the hoof snacks and meals.

The dining area, complete with a wood burning stove and a gorgeous table that easily seats ten, is a wonderful spot for dinner parties and celebratory meals.

In addition, there's a utility room which is home to a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Sleeping

There are five stunning bedrooms to choose from.

The top floor master bedroom with en suite is a gorgeously vaulted, beamed room with two windows. The large super king bed is super-sumptuous and there's a sitting area with two chairs and a television. The en suite has a bathtub for two, separate shower and heated towel rail.

The second master bedroom on the middle floor boasts a stylish super king bed, pretty window seat, television and en suite with a bath and shower over it.

In addition, there's a darling wooden-framed double bedroom with original feature fireplace, along with two twin bedrooms - just perfect for little ones.

Bathing

In addition to the en suites, there's a gorgeous family bathroom that boasts a stunning free-standing iron bath for two, large walk in shower with rain forest shower head.

Both en suites and family bathroom have heated rails to keep towels warm and fluffy whilst downstairs there's a large wet room with shower and loo.

Outdoor space

To the front of the property lies a sun-soaked garden with a lavender-lined garden path and pretty planting. There's a small wrought-iron seat perfect for morning coffees or the ideal spot for a cup of tea and a book. To the back of the property - which is where you'll also arrive - is a courtyard garden with table and chairs for alfresco dining during warmer months.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Lym House:

We had an amazing family break. Lym House was the perfect fit for our family. Safe, secure providing all our needs.

Beautiful cottage in a great location, decorated to a high spec great for large groups celebrating an occasion.

Very comfortable house in a great location. Good for family getaways, fossil hunting and walks. We slept so well and felt very relaxed.

We had a very mixed age group over our week, ranging from 13 to 80. Everyone was very happy with what Lyme Regis and Lym House had to offer so this holiday was enjoyed by everyone.

A gorgeous house in a central location. Very comfortable and spacious.

Lovely place in fantastic location.

Lovely house and great location.

Excellent location, easy walk to beach.

An ideally located spacious, comfortable house perfect for our family seaside holiday. The parking was a real bonus- particularly when loading and unloading baby equipment and toddler paraphernalia in the rain!

Wonderful house in glorious setting

It was better than we could have imagined. The layout and space; the quality of the fixtures and fittings and attention to detail. The location. Oh and the company that we went with and the weather! Such a great find. I hope we'll be back.

We booked this as an opportunity to take a break from our kids and husbands - it was absolutely perfect....we'd definitely come back...again without kids and husbands....in fact we are looking at the options now!

A lovely house, would definitely revisit and recommend. Great attention to detail and a very comfortable stay.

Excellent location, close to all amenities, and a great size for larger gatherings. The outside space to the front & rear is great for sunny mornings or evenings and the on-site parking is really useful. The owners are also very responsive and super helpful.

Excellent stay! The house is beautiful and the perfect location within the town.

'A beautiful, well-maintained house in a great location. Very comfortable and just right for a relaxing break away' - September 2020
