For enchanted moments, ground floor interiors feature exquisite living and dining spaces warmed by underfloor heating, as well as two serene bedrooms for soothing repose. Outside, a private terrace overlooks a picture of rural romance with rolling fields, woodland and the Malvern Hills in the distance, while a few steps away, a stunning communal outdoor spa promises utmost relaxation with a sauna, cold water bath, hot tub, swimming pool, and a plethora of places to recline. Further afield, the city of Worcester proposes shopping, dining, and eclectic events. Meanwhile, the Malvern Hills call to seekers of adventure with a network of trails running through the soul-stirring National Landscape.
Living
Seek slow mornings and relaxed afternoons in the embrace of the open-plan living area. Adorned in natural hues and framed by stunning oak beams, this darling space provides a sumptuous setting for luxuriation throughout the day. Exuding comfort, a French Connection corner sofa and leather armchair sit beside a rustic oak chest and glass doors that open onto the suntrap patio. Cosy up with a glass of something special in hand and gaze at the verdant tapestry beyond the windows, or relish entertainment from the Smart TV.
Eating and dining
The epitome of country charm, Acorn's kitchen sets the scene for epicurean endeavours. Perfect for culinary creativity, teal cabinetry with a polished stone worktop and Belfast sink promises ample space to craft repasts, complemented by integrated appliances such as a dishwasher, Neff oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge with freezer, washing machine and more. A Nespresso coffee machine also awaits for aromatic mornings spent in tranquil quietude on the sofa or overlooking the dew-kissed lawns.
To savour dreamy feasts with your nearest and dearest, a glass-topped dining table for four resides beside floor-to-ceiling windows. Gather together over leisurely lunches and candlelit dinners and enjoy the bucolic backdrop as plates are shared.
Sleeping and bathing
Acorn features two luxurious bedrooms on the ground floor, each with pocket sprung mattresses and memory foam top layers.
The first bedroom is a peaceful haven in blush shades. The focal point, a brass-framed super king size bed is enveloped in the highest quality linens and topped with sumptuous pillows and throws. Equally welcoming, the second bedroom features a king size zip-and-link bed that can be converted into twin beds upon requirement. Perfect for friends or children, this room is bathed in tranquil tones and completed with a built-in wardrobe for stowing belongings.
Resting between the two bedrooms, a family bathroom with soft grey wainscoting and a walk-in rainfall shower can be found on the ground floor.
Outdoor space
Step outside to find the sheltered terrace, where magical mornings and starlit evenings weave unforgettable memories. Inviting alfresco brunches and suppers are a bistro set for two and a dining table and chairs for four, accompanied by a gas barbecue. For cosy nights under the cosmos, a fire pit is also available.
Spa facilities
For all on-site guests at Mount Barns there is a fantastic outdoor spa facility available for guest use. Boasting rolling country views, this idyllic space is a dream in every season, with an outdoor pool, sunken whirlpool hot tub, ice bath and a sauna. The pool is heated from April to October and is also available for cold water dips outside of this period. Summer days are best spent poolside, with loungers for basking in the sun, and bistro tables in cosy corners. With a wealth of health benefits, relish rejuvenating moments as you relax in the sauna and channel your inner Wim Hoff with icy dips in the cold-water plunge bath. Restore a sense of calm with massages, reiki, reflexology or yoga which can be booked at The Nook, the on-site treatment room. Rinse muddy paws at the dog wash station after exploring your beautiful surroundings, with ten acres of private grounds waiting to be uncovered. Savour mindful walks in the wildflower meadow up to the ancient oak tree, the dreamiest spot for champagne picnics.

Children and babes-in-arms are very welcome at Acorn. A cot and highchair are available upon request.
Dogs
Acorn welcomes up to two well-behaved dogs. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.

Home to swathes of the Cotswolds, a wealth of heritage sites, and heavenly expanses of captivating country, Worcestershire is a breathtaking destination. One of the most magnetic regions for outdoor escapism, the Malvern Hills are within easy reach of Acorn and are interlaced with waymarked trails and paths for spellbinding strolls. To seek otherworldly settings for fairytale forays, Wyre Forest and Bodenham Arboretum entice with wooded wilderness, while Kinver Edge and Habberley Valley are wonderful places to wildlife-watch and unwind in the fresh air. For cold water pursuits, Broadfields Wild Swimming Lake is a natural lake open throughout the year. Meanwhile, the historic Harvington Hall and Hanbury Hall are both within a short drive of Acorn and invite visitors to retrace medieval footsteps.
For further historic inspiration, venture to Warwick Castle to uncover a thousand years of history. Or for a wild adventure, make way to the West Midlands Safari Park. For evenings of fine dining, nearby Brockencote Hall is home to the 3 AA Rosette Chaddesley Restaurant and is adored for its award-winning menus and tasteful ambience.
