Koru Kayaking, St. Agnes

Koru Kayaking, St. Agnes

Head out into a watery wilderness with Koru-kayaking. Time literally stands still as you explore the nooks and crannies usually left to the Cornish seals and bake deliciously in the sunshine.

Think rivers and seas - south coast and north all with a Kayak (and the crew at Koru) and thus the world is your oyster. Try your hand at launching off a private creek with the only ripples in the water created by somewhat erratic paddling or shimmying down the beach and launching through the surf. Dynamic duo Hetty and Tom are tip top experts at kayaking and will be able to put you at ease, and teach you to paddle with near-enough perfection.

From a jaunt along the rugged cliffs and coastline of Trevaunance Cove to drifting along the serene and mysterious Frenchman’s Creek, surf/ tide wise there are a lot of options.

Although it is easy to wax lyrical about the obvious passion both Hetty and Tom have for being on the water, really you have to get out there and experience it for yourself.

The beautiful thing about kayaking is that no two adventures are ever the same as although the sights may be familiar, the experience certainly isn’t and that’s what keeps you coming back for more. If you seeking an escape away from the maddening crowds and an experience which gives you a whole new perspective of Cornwall, Koru Kayaking is the activity for you.
