Situated on the majestic Longleat Estate, you can fill your day out in Wiltshire with exotic animals, exciting events and a look around a beautiful English stately home.
A must-see for any animal lover – Longleat Safari has a lot to offer its visitors. Home to a variety of exotic mammals from around the world, you can witness some of Earth’s greatest creations such as a pack of grey wolves, a group of mischievous (yet adorable!) monkeys and a pride of stunning lions. Drive through the safari in the comfort of your vehicle or take a ride on one of their iconic double decker safari buses; either way you will be able to see these gorgeous creatures in action.
If you’re celebration an extra special occasion or just want an experience to remember, we highly recommend trying one of the VIP Tours which takes you through the park in a zebra 4x4 to get as close as can be to these wonderful animals. As well as the VIP tours, there are a variety of experience packages to have a go at from holding the creepy crawly residents to feeding the big cats! If you need to take a break away from the animals, then you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity inside Longleat House – a majestic Elizabethan home that has been open to the public since 1949; the very first country house to invite the general public through its door on a fully commercial basis. Boasting fifteen glamorous rooms, an extensive art collection filled with paintings, tapestries and furniture as well as its formal and please gardens, there is plenty to discover.
You will want to get to this amazing site as early as possible in order to see the amazing animals, ravishing house and partake in the fun-packed events – maybe even visit twice during your stay to make sure you get everything in!
