Settled above Mylor Churchtown's charming harbour and promising spellbinding coastal glimpses over the Carrick Roads towards the Roseland Peninsula, our heavenly waterside escape awaits for luxury living moments. As featured by DRIFT magazine, our abode offers an array of thoughtfully designed living and sleeping spaces with sophisticated coastal inspired design, along with a curated artwork collection nodding to the retreats' Cornish heritage. Outdoors the magic continues, with a luxurious spa room complete with a sauna, and a beautifully landscaped, wraparound garden setting the scene for the staycation of dreams. Whether you're longing to wake to the charm of glittering harbour scenes or seek cosy evenings beside the wood burning stove - retreat from reality for unforgettable escapism at our modern dog-friendly abode. Nestled in Mylor Churchtown on Cornwall's enchanting south coast, Amaranta is perfectly placed for uncovering the magic of this stunning region, from the historic village of Flushing to the vibrant coastal town of Falmouth where a wealth of fine dining opportunities await just a short drive away.


Living, Kitchen and Dining

Step inside to uncover open-plan living dreams, where contemporary, coastal-inspired corners create a soothing space to gather with your kin. At the heart of living space is the modern wood burning stove, gathering by stylish and ample sofas by Flexform, for guests seeking evenings unwinding fireside with a soulful soundtrack playing from the Bang and Olufsen CD player.

At the opposite end of the space awaits the sophisticated kitchen, featuring a bespoke, hand-crafted shaker kitchen, complete with a spacious white quartz island and a built-in pantry. Everything is on hand for culinary creation, including a Neff oven and induction hob, Nespresso machine, American fridge freezer with ice and filtered water, a hot Quooker tap, wine fridge and a microwave/combi oven.

Nestled between the kitchen and living area is the dining space, where you'll find a stylish Conran table for eight - a divine setting for savouring mealtimes. For dreamy indoor-outdoor living, floor-to-ceiling glass doors, lead to the wraparound stone terrace, where you can dine alfresco amongst the wildflowers.

A quiet spot to withdraw or simply indulge with movie nights, escape to the cinema room, where vibrant furnishings and rich-toned walls create a cosy cocoon in which to retreat. For entertainment, discover Bang and Olufsen sound system and a Bang and Olufsen Sky TV, set within a bespoke wood-panelled media wall, and complete with a DVD player and a selection of films.

In the utility, you'll find the washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a separate sink. Beyond is the luxurious downstairs bathroom, complete with a WC and luxurious walk-in shower.

Settled in a separate outbuilding is a wonderful games room, designed for soirées of any occasion. From homemade tipples crafted at the bar and savoured beside waterside views, to a dose of light-hearted competition around the pool table - endless family fun awaits. You will also find a selection of board games, a Sonos speaker and a Sky TV.


Sleeping and bathing

Uncover three equally calming bedrooms at Amaranta.

A sanctuary for slumber with soothing blue hues, the master bedroom space promises a super-king size oak bed, swathed in luxurious linens for lingering lie-ins. For stowing belongings, uncover a spacious built-in wardrobe, two bedside tables, a chest of drawers, an occasional chair and a dressing table with stool. Via sliding doors awaits a glass balcony, where you can indulge in your morning coffee beside dreamy views of Carrick Roads estuary and beyond. Continuing the calming colour palette is the en suite bathroom, where you'll find an Albion rolltop freestanding bathtub, a separate walk-in shower with a rainfall head and a gorgeous dove grey sink vanity.

Along the corridor resides the pale blue twin bedroom, overlooking the leafy surrounds and coastal glimpses via a contemporary Juliet balcony and featuring two 3ft white wrought iron single beds by Cornish Bed Co. There is plenty of storage, including bespoke wardrobes and a set of drawers. Discover another luxurious earth-toned en suite, complete with a walk-in shower with rainfall head.

Adorned with pretty pink inflections and botanical-inspired artwork, the third bedroom is a divine setting for moments of serenity beside verdant vistas. Here you'll find a luxurious super-king bed, a large, fitted wardrobe and drawers, chest of drawers, bedside tables and an occasional boucle armchair by Soho Home. Spellbinding soaks await in the rose-pink rolltop Albion bathtub, whilst a walk-in rainfall shower ensures rejuvenating wake ups.

Each bathroom at Amaranta has the lovely addition of a heated rail.

The beautiful artwork on display at Amaranta has been carefully curated by Ylenia Haase of The New Craftsman Art Gallery of St. Ives and available for guests to purchase. For more information on the art available at the retreat, there is an on-site guidebook. Please note, that subject to sales, the pieces on display may change from time to time.


Garden Spa Room

Amaranta has the wonderful addition of an oak-clad, private garden spa room with a heated outdoor shower and WC, complete with an authentic Scandavian Tylö sauna with Thermo-aspen walls and alder benches for those seeking to reset their life balance in a designated setting. Whether you're looking to rejuvenate your senses with a massage or prefer the calm of a guided yoga session overlooking the verdant garden, this dreamy space is perfectly equipped for leisurely staycation pursuits. Please do get in touch with the team in advance if you would like suggested masseuse or instructor recommendations in the nearby area.


Outside space

Artfully designed with seamless outdoor-indoor living in mind, draw open the kitchen's sliding doors on the ground floor to uncover the delightfully enclosed, wraparound terrace, where you'll find a plethora of spots to perch. A round wooden dining table promises a divine spot for golden hour tipples, whilst an Everdure Gas barbeque by Heston Blumenthal is a dream addition in the summer months. Wander around the terrace to discover a selection of Adirondack loungers by Yellow Pine of Truro - perfect for sun-soaked afternoon snoozes.

Beyond the lawn, Amaranta is beautifully bordered by wildflowers and sheltered by swaying emerald trees and Cornish hedging for added privacy and seclusion.


Parking

There is ample private parking at Amaranta for up to three cars, accessed via the electric entrance gates. From the 1st of September, guests will also have access to an EV charger, complete with a QR Code for effortless payment.


Dogs

Up to two well behaved dogs are most welcome at Amaranta. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.


Babies and children

Babies and Children are most welcome at Amaranta. A cot, highchair and stairgate can be provided on request.
