Living

With a layering of natural textures, a classic Scandi-style colour palette, and stylish coastal-inspired touches, the soothing snug spaces ensure a homely setting to unwind. Two luxurious sofas and a pair of monochrome Camerich armchairs offer ample seating for the whole party to cosy up and swoon over the enchanting wood burning stove, while a set of Bang & Olufsen speakers and a Sky TV provide endless entertainment when snuggling with loved ones under luxuriously soft blankets.

Eating

Discover the lavish open-plan kitchen and dining space, where white-washed floors harmonise with neutral tones and natural textiles, echoing the minimalist Scandi-inspired interiors throughout Aurelia.

In the kitchen, you'll find bespoke wooden cabinets by Sebastian Cox perfectly paired with subtle marbled worktops in a soft grey, offering bountiful space for crafting delectable dishes. Everything you should require during your staycation is on hand in this stunning space, including a Vertuo coffee machine, an induction hob, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, and two dishwashers.

Folklore style feasting awaits around the solid oak dining table, where woven Wishbone dining chairs and cushioned benches in an understated textured fabric ensure divine mealtimes spent gathered together.

Sleeping and bathing

Aurelia welcomes six guests across four chic bedrooms for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Tucked away on the ground floor, you'll find an adorable bunk bedroom. With soft linens in ecru hues, this soothing space promises the sweetest of bedtimes for the little ones. There is also an occasional chair and cupboard for storing belongings. Just next door, you'll find a lovely shower room with a heated towel rail.

With a gorgeous, vaulted ceiling in pine wood and far-reaching views over lush countryside, the second bedroom with a super king-sized bed dressed in off-white linens promises a peaceful space to unwind. You will find an occasional chair, two woven rattan bedside tables, and a wardrobe.

The third bedroom with two small doubles is equally lovely in oatmeal tones with complementary dashes of blue. Additionally, there are two bedside tables, an occasional chair, and a spacious built-in wardrobe.

Embellished with striking Blue Churriana tiling by Bert and May, the lustrous family bathroom is simply exquisite. You'll find a bathtub made for relaxing, candlelit soaks, along with a shower head and a heated rail for keeping towels warm and fluffy.

The fourth and final bedroom is settled in its own annex, just perfect for those wishing for their own space. Featuring a super king-sized bed with a soft mocha headboard, this dazzling space with silky cream walls and monochromatic features is a Scandi paradise. Along with two jet-black bedside tables, there is a wooden hanging rail and a bench. The ensuite, with iridescent ivory tiling and jute textiles has a tempting bathtub along with a showerhead.

Lastly, the outdoor wet room with a shower is the perfect addition for the surfers of the party.

On the sun-soaked patio, you'll find a table for eight to savour alfresco delights from the barbeque, while on the lawn, two reclining loungers reside for a spot of sunbathing in quietude with your chosen novel. Additionally, a pergola provides ample shade, while a separate lounge area is a dream for evenings indulging in alfresco aperitifs beside the firepit together under pastel skies.

Lovely setting and stylishly decorated cottage. Lucy was proactive, helpful and responsive too.

A superb stay in a well-equipped and very comfortable cottage. Communication was great and all very helpful. Would highly recommend.

This is a truly beautiful cottage that made us feel as if we were in a home-from-home. Padstow is easily accessible with some great restaurants and coastal walks. The host was very helpful and attentive. We’d happily stay again.

Beautifully decorated house, with all the amenities/toys you could possibly want. Very high quality. Super location too.

Beautiful retreat, spotlessly clean and great deco, Aurelia is a gem

This is a wonderfully designed property with a lot of care and attention to make your stay in Cornwall special. If you love surfing, life by the sea and want to re-energise then this is the perfect place for you. Comfy beds, very clean and newly built means it feels like you're staying in a 5 star hotel without all of the intrusions. We had a wonderful time at Aurelia!
