Set right in the centre of pretty Padstow, this delightful home stay is perfect, whether you're a couple or a family.
From the moment you step through the door, this cosy, peaceful home is the ideal base to come back to at the end of a busy day exploring the wild north Cornish coast. From the soft blush pinks and warm neutral tones to the original features and sumptuous fittings, this is a place of quietude and you'll instantly fall in love with its serene ambience.
You couldn't ask for a better setting either - located in the heart of Padstow, you're just steps from amazing places to eat (such as Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein) as well as within walking distance of the harbour and the beach. And with the whole of the north Cornish coast on your doorstep, you're spoilt for places to explore.
Living and eating
Walk through the front door and you'll find yourself in the snug, welcoming living space and kitchen which has underfloor heating throughout.
The sitting area lies to the back of the room, were a tactile grey velvet sofa and two occasional chairs snuggle around the large wood burner - the best place to be on wintery nights! In addition, there's a Smart television and Alexa with speaker, whilst the glass door that leads into the courtyard lets in plenty of natural light.
The kitchen and dining area lie to the front of the house. With a cute dusky pink Aga, the kitchen has everything you need to rustle up snacks and meals with a dishwasher, microwave, food processor, fridge freezer and Nespresso coffee machine all neatly tucked away, whilst the gorgeous artisan tableware in pinks and mushroom grey makes eating even more of a pleasure. The dining table sits close by and easily seats four people and can be extended to eat eight.
In addition, there's a washer-dryer which can be found in the super-cute outhouse adorned with flag bunting, which is across the courtyard. As well as the washer-dryer, there's a dresser filled with other cookware and is a useful space for holding surfboards and wetsuits.
Sleeping
There are two beautiful bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom is super-pretty with a sumptuous king size bed with dusky pink headboard, whilst there's also a darling window seat swathed in sheepskin, an eye-catching Tom Raffield lightshade and a lovely dressing table with matching dusky pink velvet chair.
On the top floor, amongst the eaves, lies the second bedroom which can be set up as a super-king bed or twin beds. We just love the shell motif wallpaper, whilst the large chest of drawers offers plenty of storage. In addition, there's television and a quirky deckchair with views out onto the characterful streets of Padstow.
Both bedrooms boast Hypnos mattresses, Feather & Down anti-allergy bedding and gorgeous linens, throws and cushions to guarantee a blissful nights' sleep. They also both have an Echo Dot so you can listen to your favourite tunes or set an alarm should you need to.
Bathing
The oh-so-romantic bathroom has a delightful bathtub for two, just made for long soaks after a day our exploring beautiful Cornwall. If you're after something a bit more refreshing, there's also a separate shower to invigorate you in the mornings. There's also a heated rail to keep your towels warm and fluffy. We just adore the original feature fireplace too.
Outdoor space
To the back of the property lies a sun-soaked, shared courtyard garden that comes complete with a table, four chairs and a pizza oven (which can also be a BBQ) for outdoor meals. There's also an outdoor shower - for humans, dogs and sandy wetsuits alike.
Parking
Parking is available nearby public car parks, The Lawns, Link Road or the Station Car parks in Padstow.
Babies and children
Babies under 12 months and children over 8 years are very welcome at Oysters. Please bring your own baby equipment with you.

In the Area
Where to begin? Padstow is a fantastic destination whatever your interests. For beach lovers, you're spoilt for choice - Padstow has a different beach for every day of the week, each of them sandy and gorgeous. For surf lovers, head to Polzeath, whilst water sports are plentiful on the Camel Estuary.
If you prefer to keep to dry land, the Camel Trail is excellent for walking, running and cycling whilst the coastal path offers stunning sea views and interesting climbing along the rugged north Cornish coastline.
Padstow is famously well represented when it comes to places to eat - you'll not be stuck for great restaurants and cafes, with the likes of Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw and Paul Ainsworth in residence. However, eating out in Padstow is so popular it is well worth booking in advance. Head to the harbour if you like to cook yourself and pick up some fresh fish straight off the boat - delicious!
