Living and Eating

Fall in love with Seraphina's open-plan design and embrace the art of luxury escapism in style. From the porchway, spacious interiors unveil towards a beautiful living area, framed overhead by striking vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. Just perfect for those slow mornings and ambient evenings, two sumptuous sofas and a cosy armchair gather around a reclaimed wood coffee table topped with glass. Settle in for soothing hours with a book in hand or seek entertainment from the Smart TV with an Xbox and DVD player. Sky Q is also available on every TV throughout Seraphina.

Adorned in turquoise tones and illuminated with original stained-glass windows, the inviting kitchen and diner of Seraphina are a delight for brunches and banquets. Taking centre stage, a large kitchen island topped with a polished granite worktop provides space for curating dishes, with integrated Smeg twin ovens, a hob, and boiling water tap. Along the far wall, handcrafted cabinetry in shades of blue stow everything you need for culinary creativity, paired with a retro Smeg fridge-freezer in black. For those moments gathered over glistening coupes and tableware filled with your favourite fancies, a large wooden dining table beckons, hugged by bench seating and comfortable leather dining chairs.

Sleeping and bathing

Seraphina is home to two stunning bedrooms and a family bathroom.

A sweet sanctuary for serene slumber, a glass-fronted mezzanine is home to the master suite. Take the wrought iron spiral staircase from the open-plan living area to find this beautiful bedroom, set below exposed beams and swathed in tranquil tones. Tempting for blissful repose, a king-size bed is dressed in the finest linens and throws and is paired with a dove-grey velvet headboard and matching French-style ottoman. A leather armchair resides beside the window for moments of quietude, while for entertainment, a TV can be found too. Promising utmost relaxation, a freestanding bath for two calls for soothing soaks. Completing this bedroom is a semi-enclosed bathroom.

Downstairs, a second bedroom is just perfect for adults or children. A cosy cocoon in which to unwind, it features a custom-made double bed with a single bunk overhead, reached via an industrial-style stepladder. Neutral tones dress the room, contrasted with nautical blues, while an original fireplace and stained-glass windows nod to the chapel's roots. This bedroom also features a TV for those moments lost in film.

A shower room can be found downstairs in seashell shades, complete with a walk-in shower.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Seraphina:

Loved it. Great property and lovely location

We had such a lovely stay at Seraphina. The location, the property (a renovated chapel, such a dream), the decor, the weather. We could not have been more pleased. The only disappointment was that we had to leave….seriously contemplated ways to stay forever ??

Excellent place to stay for padstow and north coast. Secluded yet close enough to all we needed

Beautiful place and a lovely base for exploring Cornwall

The property has been converted at great expense and is fitted out really well.

It was perfect! as described and pictured on the website. We were allowed to check in early which was amazing given the terrible weather we were having that day! We were greeted with lovely welcome gifts on arrival. Overall perfect. Would recommend & stay again.

Brilliantly equipped very comfortable properly close to all the good stuff.

This was a lovely, unique accommodation with lots of nice finishing touches. The Wi-Fi was excellent which was important to my children and the home system with Sky a real bonus.

Delighted the moment we saw the building and even more so when we entered. Very well laid out and very comfortable. Everything you need and close to all the sites such as Padstow and Port Isaac, our favourites. The welcome basket and flowers was a lovely touch, just what we needed after a 9 hour journey. All in all absolutely fantastic and will 100% book to stay again. What a very special little place this is! Beautiful! xx

Stunning property in a great location with lots or restaurants, beaches and areas of beauty within easy reach. Finishes and facilities of the highest order and a lovely welcome basket provided upon arrival. I would 100% recommend this location to a couple looking for a quiet few days away to recharge and enjoy the delights of Cornwall.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated chapel. We felt completely at home and looked forward to returning to it after exploring during the day. Off the beaten track but within easy reach of Padstow and the numerous beaches in the area. The welcome hamper and doggy treats and blankets were greatly appreciated. Would love to return one day.

A fabulous conversion with every possible comfort and amazing original stained glass windows

Beautiful high spec property in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. We would love to return and take our dog next time.

This beautiful building will exceed your dreams we didn't want to leave every single thing you would need or want is there

The chapel is beautifully renovated. Plenty of room for the two of us with two dogs and perfectly equipped. For a wet and windy winter weekend it provided us with a warm and cosy retreat that we would, without a doubt, recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location which is equally located centrally to all of the North Cornwall coast.

Beautiful converted Chapel in a quiet hamlet with easy access to north Cornish coast and Padstow. The owners are charming and their pride in the property will be visible to every guest.

A stunning place to stay in a fantastic location, 10/10!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideally located within easy reach of Padstow but far enough away to not be affected by the crowds. Easy access to Trevone Head and Harlyn beach as well as others (all dog friendly). Friendly and helpful neighbours ( even after I parked in their spot!). Delightful accommodation with great TV/ entertainment. All round a great week in Cornwall in a very flexible and comfortable open plan chapel which catered for two small dogs brilliantly

Seraphina is just stunning in every way. The moment you step inside the luxurious vaulted ceilings and open space take your breath away The beautiful stained glass windows are spectacular.

The design is so well thought out and flows well giving comfort and space. The upstairs bedroom is gorgeous very spacious with a free standing bath to have a luxurious soak after days exploring.

We really didn’t want to leave and look forward to returning again in the near future.

We had the most wonderful, magical stay at Seraphina. The chapel is absolutely stunning and feels so luxurious. We have recommended it to so many friends.

What a lovely home for our week in Cornwall. Super comfy and exactly what we needed this year!

An excellent chill out location that ticks a long held wish to stay in a converted chapel - it didn't disappoint. The attention to detail was first rate and the appliances and all furnishings enhanced the experience.

The cottage completely exceeded our expectations. Although the images online are fantastic, we got the WOW factor once we walked through the door. It was a perfect base for a wonderful week away for us to get away from it all. Whilst we found it difficult to book restaurants to eat out of an evening, this did not bother us as it just meant we could spend even more time back & 'home' at the cottage. After a lovely day in Cornwall, we looked forward to getting back and chilling for the rest of the evening.

Beautifully restored chapel. Luxurious, stylish and practical. Great bolt hole, Near all the best bits of North Cornwall but just out of the tourist throng, to avoid the hustle. Definitely recommend.
