Dating from the 19th century, Lottie's Cottage is a wonderful coastal escape. Lovingly restored by its owners who are passionate about creating a home-from-home experience, you'll find a warm welcome and a luxurious home stay, whether there's just two of you or you're a family. With bags of original features paired beautifully with modern comforts and Bohemian style finishing touches, the house is truly a haven for relaxation whilst the incredible garden offers a wonderful hot tub and impressive outdoor living.
Ideally situated on the north Cornish coast close to oh-so-popular St Agnes, you're an easy stroll from Penhale Sands, home to the second largest sand dunes in Europe as well as fabulous places to eat and drink, whilst if you hop in the car you have the whole coastline to explore with their epic beaches and wonderful seaside villages - who could ask for more?

Living
With open plan living and underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, Lottie's Cottage is surprisingly spacious with two lovely sitting rooms to choose from. The main living room boasts characterful whitewashed walls, beamed ceiling, cream wood burner, wooden floor and sumptuous leather sofas to curl up on - the perfect hideaway on cool evenings. The second sitting room boasts another sofa and television (perfect for little ones) whilst French windows open onto the garden and Tiki bar - a must during warmer weather. Big enough for a family and gorgeously spacious for couples, this is a wonderful living area - in fact, you'll easily while away the hours in this peaceful retreat.
Eating
Just wow! The kitchen at Lottie's Cottage is a cook's dream. Whether you're a master chef or a chef-in-training, you'll have everything to hand to create a culinary masterpiece, whether it's a romantic meal for your loved one or a bolstering family feast with a double oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and all the other equipment you would expect (including a wine cooler and an Nespresso coffee machine).
The large breakfast bar is ideal for on-the-go snacks and informal meals - made cosy by the adjacent wood burner - whilst there's a small circular table for intimate breakfasts for two or meals for little ones. In addition, there's a dining table for four in the second sitting room for suppers and dinner parties and of course there's a table, chairs and barbeque outside too.
Sleeping
At the end of the day, withdraw to the delightful master bedroom where you'll find a laid-back-yet-lovely space to unwind. The luxuriously comfortable king size bed, white washed stone walls and plenty of storage makes this is great den for relaxation. Next door there's a lovely, sunny twin room with dream-inducing beds in shades of yellow and grey - a perfect room for little ones.
Bathing
The uber-romantic en suite to the master bedroom is a dreamy escape from the everyday. The sleek, oval freestanding bath is just made for long soaks, whether alone or à deux, and we just love the eye-catching, cobbled floor which gives it a real beachy feel. In addition, you'll find a shower room downstairs with walk-in shower - ideal for sandy feet - and a heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy.
Outside space
The garden is a real feature of this wonderful retreat. Impressive palm trees sway overhead whilst underneath you'll find a huge, bubbling hot tub - perfect for a spot of star gazing with a glass of something special in hand. The quirky, cute Tiki bar - bedecked by twinkling lights - is the perfect spot for rustling up your favourite cocktail or mocktail, whilst there's plenty of seating from the outdoor sofa to the dining table and barbeque for alfresco meals - total bliss!

There is parking for two cars outside.

In the Area
Lottie's Cottage is set in a beautiful, peaceful location in the village of Rose. Adventuring to the coast from your cosy retreat couldn't be dreamier; don your walking boots and begin this stroll along the country lane which leads to a winding coastal path. Venture along this twisting trail until you reach the entrance to Cornish fields. Meander through the pastures, peek at the wildlife and seasonal flora until you catch sight of the mesmerising ocean views! Stumble upon the picturesque sand dunes of Perranporth and relish in its splendour. This scenic wander will take around half an hour, perfect for discovering the beauty of the Cornish coast. Limehouse Yoga, a fantastic yoga studio, is just five minutes from Lottie's Cottage, offering a range of calming, nurturing and inspiring classes and workshops.
This is a foodie haven too! Follow the same beautiful walk or take a short drive to Perranporth where you will discover the fabulous Summer House Restaurant and The Watering Hole - a bar literally on the beach! The Smuggler's Inn in nearby Cubert is great for food too (make sure to book). The sensational eateries of St Agnes are just a short drive away, whilst up the coast you'll find Padstow - home to Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth and their twist on Cornish cuisine. For active types, why not book yourself some surfing lessons, or if you're a pro, head to Holywell beach, Crantock or Penhale for some of the best surf beaches around. If you'd rather stay on land, pull on your boots and explore the gorgeous South West Coastal Path.
