The open-plan living space is just perfect for entertaining and relaxing with huge floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open out onto the terrace with incredible views over the village and out across Gerrans Bay. Gorgeous wooden floors have sumptuous underfloor heating so in cooler months toes are kept toasty warm, and the simple white décor keeps things chicly simple. To one side you have the living area where you'll find two large Loaf sofas and an armchair nestled around the contemporary wood burning stove - perfect for families or friends to gather around and while away an evening. The other side of the room is dedicated to the kitchen and dining area. The sleek fitted kitchen and worktops hide all the kitchen equipment and appliances you'll need to rustle up feasts and snacks for your loved ones, whilst the island offers plenty of prep space should you need it. The dining area is to the side and the table comfortably seats eight, whilst there's a further table and chairs on the terrace for alfresco dining during warmer weather. In addition, there's a utility room with all the necessary laundry appliances should you need it.

In the Area
Portscatho is a traditional fishing village, with a small harbour, on the stunning Roseland Peninsula, situated on the south coast of Cornwall. Pretty and pastoral, with hidden coves and beaches, this side of the county is much softer and more protected than its rugged neighbour the north coast. There's so much to do in this wonderful part of Cornwall, whether it's exploring the beaches such as Porthcurnick, Towan, Carne and Pendower, walking the stunning South West Coastal Path or visiting the plethora of gardens which make the most of the warmer climate - such as Trelissick Gardens or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. With lots of great places to eat and drink, you'll be spoilt for choice. The local pub, The Plume of Feathers, where a warm welcome from the owners Roger & Helen is guaranteed, is in the heart of the village and serves great pub food. The Harbour Club enjoys fantastic views of Gerrans Bay from its large balcony and welcomes visitors for a nominal members fee. From Tatums Taverna, the newly established restaurant below, owned by Cornwall's chef of the moment, Simon Stallard of Hidden Hut fame, you can enjoy wonderful, locally produced food from the simple open grill in a bustling atmosphere, or order something to take away and for something a little different head to The Hidden Hut, situated on the cliffs above Porthcurnick Beach. If silver-service is your thing, The Driftwood Hotel boasts a Michelin-starred restaurant just a short hop away and just a few miles down the road in St Mawes, you will find the renown Tresanton and Idle Rocks Hotels.
