Living
The spacious, traditionally styled sitting room is just a dream, in warm colours of oat and tempered reds. Three plump sofas nestle around the open fire, the perfect setting for chillier days, whilst the windows can be opened wide on hot summer days to let the soft flower-scented breeze flow through. In addition, there's a Smart TV with Sky, Netflix and Freeview for film nights or for catching up on that must-watch series. This is a wonderful space for coming together, whether its opening presents on Christmas morning or supping a post-dinner drink - bliss!
Eating
Whether you're planning on cooking yourself or getting someone else to do it, the large farmhouse kitchen is simply divine and stacked with everything needed for culinary delights. In shades of blue with wooden worktops and central island for prepping, there's a large Everhot oven complete with three ovens, hot plate and induction hob to make cooking easy, whilst there's also a built-in dishwasher, fridge, microwave, and all the other essentials including a Nespresso coffee machine and a SONOS for tunes to accompany you as you cook. There's also a wood burner with an armchair, so the cook's companion can sit in comfort.
In the utility room is an additional American style fridge freezer, secondary dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. A loo can be found here too.
You'll discover the dining room next door, complete with impressive table which seats ten comfortably, drinks trolley, flickering wood burner and huge window overlooking the garden - the perfect setting for celebratory meals, be it Christmas, a birthday or simply to savour time well spent together.
The owners of Lemail House know a wonderful private chef that's available to hire, so whether you've a celebration planned or simply want someone else to cook, please do get in touch and we can arrange this for you. They can also provide luxurious meal boxes.
Sleeping and bathing
There are four delightful bedrooms to choose from.
The en suite master bedroom, with touches of jewel-rich blues and red, is spacious and calming, boasting a super king-sized bed, original feature fireplace, two occasional chairs, a chest of drawers and a window seat with window overlooking the garden. The en suite is a shower room with large walk-in shower, heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy, plus a pretty window seat.
Bedrooms two and three have zip and link beds, meaning they can be made into twin beds or kept as super king-sized beds for flexible sleeping arrangements. Both have a chest of drawers, occasional chairs, a feature fireplace, and views over the garden. One of these has an en suite shower room.
The fourth bedroom is oh-so-charming home to three-foot bunk beds, a gorgeous arch window with window seat and a large chest of drawers.
In addition, there's a family bathroom with bath for sumptuous long soaks.
Outdoor space
The plentiful gardens await to be explored; immediately outside the house there's a gorgeous walled garden, resplendent with mature herbaceous borders, plus a dining table and chairs and a Weber charcoal barbeque for alfresco meals. In addition, you'll find benches throughout to spend a quiet moment in the beautiful surroundings, and shady spots for a picnic or afternoon snooze. We just love the wild fields beyond, with carefully mown lawned paths to explore.
Parking
There is plenty of private, off-road parking.
