Bedroom details
1 Bedroom (Sleeps 2 + cot)
Drive down the idyllic country lane (complete with grass growing down the middle) and you'll find Cyder Barn tucked away amongst the trees. As soon as you walk in through the front door, the blissful peacefulness will envelop you and the stresses and strains of everyday life will just fall away. From the simple-yet-stylish decor to the gorgeous decking complete with hot tub, this really is a perfectly private love nest for two. It's great for doggies too; with a private paddock for running around in to their very own shower, they'll feel nothing but welcome.
Living
The pretty living area is a tranquil space in shades of blue and cream, with a sofa and large comfy chair offering plenty of seating. Under floor heating and a fab wood burning stove means you'll be toasty warm during cooler months, whilst the south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the decking, paddock, village and rolling countryside beyond offers incredible, idyllic views. The 4k television, complete with full Sky package, means you can cosy up in the evenings to watch your favourite film or series whilst the Sonos sound system means you can play your own tunes.
Eating
The kitchen, although bijou, comes complete with everything you need to rustle up a fantastic meal. Appliances are neatly tucked away behind cream cupboards - fridge/freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and wine cooler, whilst the Neff ceramic hob and fan oven are neatly built in alongside the cream Smeg kettle and toaster. A cute baby-blue Robert's Radio means you can boogie while baking, whilst the dinky dining table and chairs make for a romantic meal a deux - complete with under floor heating. When the weather's good, move your meal outside onto the decking so you can make the most of the stunning views.
Sleeping
The stunning bedroom is beautifully romantic in shades of white and green. The king size bed has a Hypnos mattress to ensure deep sleeps, whilst the swathes of White Company Egyptian cotton bedding and under floor heating means you'll be super-cosy too. Finishing touches are provided by cushions and throws made by local producers in St Agnes. If you enjoy watching films in bed snuggled up, there's a Smart television which has access to Freeview whilst the Sonos sound system means you can listen to music too.
Bathing
The incredible bathroom has a stunning walk-in double shower room with two overhead rain shower heads next to each other, whilst under floor heating means toes will be kept cosy-warm. LED mood lighting and a sound system brings a luxurious feel to the room.
Utility Room
And now for something a little different! The handy utility room comes complete with a shower for your four-legged friend or if you've come straight off of the beach and are still in your wetsuit. Handily opposite the front door, you can wash and dry yourself off (and pooch too) after a day on the beach or after a long country walk.
Baby friendly
A travel cot and high chair can be available for your stay, on request.
Outside space
Walk through the glass doors in the living room onto the decking area and you'll find yourself in your very own mini-Eden. A long wooden deck, with dappled light from the overhanging trees, is a perfect spot for an alfresco breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply for a drink or two. The gorgeous hot tub awaits you too - why not enjoy at night so you can gaze at the stars? Make sure to have a bottle of bubbles close by! Take a few steps down from the decking and you'll find your own paddock - ideal for exercising your dog - whilst a love bench in the corner means you can enjoy the last of the evening sun or catch up with that book.

In the Area
Just a short stroll away from Cyder Barn is The Miner's Arms; a fab local pub serving great food and local beers, ciders and wines as well as having a tiny local shop for the essentials. Make sure to book a table if you're planning on eating as it's very popular with visitors and locals alike. St Agnes is a two-minute drive away and has lots of places to eat and drink such as the famed The Tap House, Akaroa Bistro, Schooners, Driftwood Spars and Taste.
For beaches, head to nearby Perranporth Beach - the largest in the area - popular with surfers and familes. Trevaunance Cove is St Agnes' main beach and has life guard cover in the summer months, whilst Chapel Porth, to the west, is owned by the National Trust and has a great beach cafe.
The South West Coast path is particularly beautiful around here and was very much inspiration for Winton Graham, the author of 'Poldark'. Take the path west from Trevaunace and you'll find the iconic Wheal Coates - perfect for sunset photographs.
Of course, there are also plenty of fantastic walks right on Cyder Barn's doorstep too - perfect for when you want a car-free day.
