Living, eating and sleeping

Fentafriddle Lodge benefits from one beautiful, open plan space - all the better for spending time together, or perfect if you're seeking a cosy break away by yourself. Step through the front door and immediately to your right lies the sitting area, complete with snug wood burner flickering its warm welcome. Nestled around the fire lies a cosy Arlo and Jacob sofa for two and an armchair, the perfect spot for curling up with a good book. In addition, there's a Smart TV for when you want to catch up with a box set or seek comfort in a classic film. Next to the sitting area lies the kitchen. The Plain English kitchen is cool and calm in white tones, and home to an electric oven with induction hob, Belfast sink, fridge and all the other essentials you'll need to rustle up meals, plus a Nespresso coffee machine and a washer-dryer. To the left of the front door lies the bedroom area. The king-sized bed lies in its own recess away from the rest of the room and comes complete with its own window, bedside tables, cupboard space and hanging space on the wall. Handily the bed has a secret storage space underneath - just lift the bed and pop in your suitcases to keep them neatly tucked away.

The stunning bathroom comes complete with a Lefroy Brooks shower plus a deep bath - perfect for long soaks! A heated rail ensures towels are kept warm and fluffy.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Fentafriddle Lodge:

An absolutely gorgeous well maintained property with amazing views. Very comfortable

A perfect place to escape the hustle of everyday life for a while.

Really well appointed, comfortable cosy retreat. Lovely generous welcome pack which I could have lived off during my 3 day stay.

Absolutely fantastic stay from start to finish. Met all of our needs for our mini moon and some! Would highly recommend!

Great and quiet location, we loved it and had a nice rest.

Stunning location

Great accommodation, well equipped. The lodge was spotless. Great location

A very clean and tidy, snug and compact converted barn with good views of tge sea from outside.

We have visited Fentafridlle many times with the previous owners and even got married there in 2014! It was fantastic to go back after a few years absence and the whole stay was superb. We were the only people there at the time in January and the secluded nature of the property was wonderful for a relaxing week on holiday.

Lovely location with views out to the sea.

A small cottage perfect for two. Everything was of a high quality for a rental. We were delighted with our stay.

We loved the elevated position of the cottage as the views were a delight at all times of day. The cottage is compact but well appointed. There are many varied, beautiful walks from the door.

We had an amazing stay at Fentafriddle Lodge, even though we went when the weather was rainy we still had a great stay (and meant we could make the most of the log burner!) The location is perfect for exploring lots of areas along the north coast, and the sea view is incredible. We can't speak more highly of this place and would definitely recommend it

hope to visit again exceptional
