In beautifully tranquil shades of cream and turquoise, this lovely home stay for four lies on the North Cornish coast above the stunning Trebarwith Strand. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking the essence of coastal chic with views to die for. The barn has high ceilings and exposed oak beams - there are cool stone floors for summer months and underfloor heating along with a wood burning stove for cosier times. This enchanting hideaway has everything you need whether for a seaside summer escape or a comfy winter retreat.
Living
With uninterrupted views out over fields to the sea, the main living space is open plan, making it just perfect for socialising. For relaxing, two gorgeously comfy sofas next to the wood-burner furnish the sitting room. For entertainment, there is a large screen Smart TV, WiFi connected soundbar with Sky TV, i-Player, with Netflix and Amazon available for subscribers. If you want to play your own music from your phone or i-Pad it will do that too. Cushions and luxurious throws means there's ample opportunity to curl up with a good book, or maybe watch a film or two on lazy days. When the sun shines, French doors can be opened to let the warm sea breeze float through as you relax to the natural sound of birdsong.
Eating
The delightful bespoke kitchen has all the bits and pieces you'll need to cook up a storm while gazing out to sea. Gorgeous granite worksurfaces line the kitchen. There's a fabulous driftwood and glass dining table for six, whilst outside in the lovely walled garden you'll find a large seating area, as well as a dining table and chairs along with a gas fired barbeque meaning you can cook al fresco as the sun sets over the sea.
Sleeping
There are two delightful en suite bedrooms themed around coastal elements such as driftwood and fossils - one with a fabulous king-sized sleigh bed and the other with an additional king-sized bed, framed with a pretty fretwork headboard. This can be separated to create twin beds if needed. Both come swathed in sumptuous bedding, throws and cushions so you'll feel like you're falling asleep amongst the clouds.
Bathing
The master en suite bathroom has a gorgeous freestanding bath tub. The second bedroom has an en suite with a walk in shower. Fluffy white towels and relaxing times are waiting for you.
Garden
Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and surrounded by 50-acres of private farmland, the French doors in the sitting room lead out onto a private terrace and garden. There is also a choice of comfortable seating to enjoy the fabulous and panoramic views of the North Cornish coast. The sunsets over the sea, seen from the terrace, are magical.
Green Credentials
The barn not only feels in harmony with nature, it makes minimal environmental impact too. Electricity is supplied from a wind turbine, and a ground source heat pump provides both hot water and heating. The water is supplied by a natural underground spring and is as pure as you could wish.

On your doorstep - 20 minutes walk away - is the Port William pub, fantastically positioned overlooking the dramatically photogenic surfing beach at Trebarwith.
