Beautiful interiors and underfloor heating throughout welcome you as you step through the door, whilst the soft palette used throughout installs a deep sense of calm and relaxation. The amazing living spaces - including a huge open-plan kitchen and dining area - are just perfect for coming together whilst the stunning bedrooms offer a sanctuary away from the world when you need to escape. Outside, there's a wonderful, bubbling hot tub whilst outdoor dining is made possible with the huge table and Weber gas barbeque.
Nestled on the north Cornish coast, you're beautifully positioned to make the most of Padstow's amazing eateries whilst the plethora of wild, huge sandy beaches are wonderful whether you swim, surf or sunbathe.
Living
The dreamy, oh-so-grown up sitting room will really keep you in the pink! The large, plumptuous corner sofa is just divine and there is an occasional chair to sprawl out in too - this is the ideal spot to gather in the evenings for late-night chats. There is also a Smart TV with Sky, Sky Sports and Netflix too should you need a little distraction.
A cosy snug with plenty of seating and a Smart TV with Sky, Sky Sports and Netflix is the perfect hideout for little ones whilst parents can have a little time by themselves!
Eating
The wonderfully spacious kitchen and dining room is a chef's dream. Beautifully light and airy in pale colours, the room benefits from floor to ceiling glass doors which open on to the back garden - bringing the outside in during warmer months.
The fully equipped kitchen is positioned at one end and boasts a Rangemaster range cooker with gas hob and electric ovens, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, hot stone, and the all-important Nespresso coffee machine. In addition, there's also a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility room.
The huge wooden dining table easily seats ten and with gorgeous lighting overhead, it is the ideal spot for dinner parties and celebrations. A SONOS sound system is available too to play all your favourite tunes.
Sleeping
There are five beautiful bedrooms to choose from, two of which are on the ground floor, the rest are upstairs.
On the ground floor you'll find a master bedroom with a comfy and gorgeously pink king size bed with occasional chair, clothes rail and chest of drawers. The bay window has views over the decking. The second bedroom is a super-sweet twin bedroom with a large chest of drawers and a wardrobe.
On the first floor, there is the wonderfully spacious second master en suite bedroom in shades of pink and grey with king size bed, wardrobe, occasional chair, chest of drawers and two balconies overlooking the rolling countryside. There's also an outside bistro set of a table and two chairs, perfect for private breakfasts or a late-night tipple. In addition, there is a second king-size bedroom in shades of teal with a clothes rail and chest of drawers, and another twin bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The layout of the bedrooms and the bathrooms makes this perfect for two families holidaying together or multi-generational family get-togethers.
Bathing
The downstairs shower room has a wet room shower with overhead and handheld showers, plus a Bluetooth speaker, whilst the main bathroom upstairs has a bath with handheld shower plus a separate wet room shower with overhead and handheld showers. In addition, the upstairs master bedroom has an en suite shower. Handy for beach days, there are two outdoor showers - one in the car port and one by the side door - perfect for washing off sandy toes and wetsuits. In addition, there's another loo downstairs next to the dining room.
All the showers and bathrooms come complete with heated rails to keep towels warm and fluffy and underfloor heating to keep toes toasty warm should you need it.
Outside Space
The garden is just perfect for relaxing after a day's exploring or simply when you want a day 'at home' in your retreat. The front decking has loungers with views over the rolling countryside. To the back, there's a fabulous table with seating for ten and a Weber gas barbeque - perfect for alfresco meals. Of course, there is also the bubbling hot tub - the ultimate in relaxation after a busy day exploring - bliss!
Parking
There is private, off road covered parking for two cars /storage for surf boards and beach equipment, and a further car can fit in the garage, which has an electrically operated door. You will also find an electric car charging point for guest use.
Babies and children
Babies and children are very welcome at St Francis. A travel cot, highchair, two bed sides and plastic cups are provided on request.

This is one of our pet-free properties.
WiFi
St Francis has superfast broadband with WiFi and some hard wiring, so if you need to stay in touch with the outside world you can.
In the Area
St Francis is nestled in the pretty village of Trevone, close to Padstow on the north Cornish coast. This lovely retreat is in walking distance to the beach and within a two-minute walk of Trevone Farm Shop, the perfect place for picking up lots of tasty treats including delicious pastries and cakes. Of course, there's a great selection of places to eat in Padstow from Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein to a plethora of cafes, pubs and excellent restaurants. Rick Stein's fishmonger and deli on the quayside are also worth a look. The Pig at Harlyn Bay is only a 5-10-minute drive away and a must too!
You will find the wonderful Trevone Bay Beach just a short stroll away. A sandy beach surrounded by cliffs, this is a wonderful spot to spend the day whilst the cliffs to the north east of the beach are great for rock pooling (including a manmade swimming pool in the rocks, walks and fantastic views. Padstow also has lots of sandy beaches within an easy distance, so you're spoilt for choice!
The Camel Estuary offers plenty of water sports whilst the Camel Trail is excellent for walking and cycling, or if you're keen - run it. The coastal path is great for walks with stunning views too. Head to nearby Harlyn Bay or Constantine Bay for great surfing, or for a spot of people watching head to glam Rock or Polzeath.
