Whether you would like shopping brought in for you so you don't have to worry about buying it en route, advice on the best walks and local pubs, they're happy to help. In addition, wax country coats, wellies, binoculars, brollies and Ordnance Survey maps will be left for you. If you have any requirements, just get in touch prior to your holiday to see how they can help.
Living
Take the stairs up to the open-plan sitting room where you'll find mellow wooden floors, a beamed, vaulted ceiling, French doors that open on to the terrace and a fabulous porthole window that has picture-perfect views over the moors. There are two sumptuous, bespoke sofas and a footstool all covered in Mulberry velvet nestled around the cosy wood burning stove, a Smart TV, Bose SoundTouch 10 sound system, full-length velvet curtains, ambient lighting and a radio too. You'd be hard-pushed to find a lovelier spot to relax in after a day out exploring the moors.
Eating
We just love the country-chic slate grey kitchen - we dream of cooking in here! There's a fabulous dual range cooker with a five-burner gas hob plus triple crown wok burner, as well as a Belfast sink, two fridges (one with a small freezer compartment), dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, Dualit worktop appliances and everything else you would need to rustle up a feast. The Georgian scullery work table in the centre of the room is the focal point of the kitchen, whilst we can imagine sitting in the window seat - preferably with a glass of our favourite tipple in our hand!
You'll find the circular antique dining table with French-style dining chairs in the open-plan living area, beautifully lit by the Velux window above.
Sleeping and bathing
The stunning en suite bedroom is located on the ground floor. With a king size, teal-coloured velvet bed complete with French linen bedding, sheepskin heated blanket and a plethora of luxurious throws and cushions it's the ultimate romantic bedrooom. Carefully decorated in a collection of gorgeous antiques including a chandelier large chest of drawers, double wardrobe, Ralph Lauren fabric as well as beautifully chosen artwork, it's a joy to retire to at the end of the day.
The en suite is totally divine too, with a roll top, freestanding bath with hand-held shower, beautiful tiled floor and striking dark coloured walls.
In addition, there is a second gorgeous bedroom should you need separate rooms which has an en suite shower room with huge walk in, six inch rose shower with additional hand-held shower.
Outdoor space
To the rear of the property, accessed through the sitting room, you'll find a lovely terrace area complete with a teak table, four chairs, Weber barbeque and a Kaddi bowl for a spot of alfresco dining. This leads on to a private garden which boasts outstanding views over the moors. In addition, there's access to a tennis court and croquet lawn (not for the professional!) whilst you can also wander to the kitchen garden for seasonal fruit, vegetables and herbs. There's also a stunning roundhouse with a wood burner, a perfect spot to curl up and watch the sun set over the moorland with a glass of something special in your hand.
Spa room
To make your stay extra special, there's a spa treatment room available for massage, reflexology, facial massage, hot stone massage and deep tissue massage on Saturdays or Thursdays. This can be booked prior to your stay - please let us know and we'll put you in touch with the owner.
