Bathed in natural light from inset windows and washed with calming hues, it tempts for moments of tranquillity and time gathered together. For those sumptuous mornings and convivial evenings, a large royal blue Loaf Sugar Bum corner sofa and a powder grey footstool take pride of place next to an inglenook fireplace. Topped with an original, exposed wood mantel, this grand fireplace houses a wood burning stove just made for cosy evenings spent fireside. Adding an even cosier dimension to the room, the lounge is adjoined by a snug reading area with comfortable armchairs, lamps, and a SONOS amp with floor speakers.
Eating and dining
Deliciously inviting, the modern kitchen with underfloor heating sets the scene for languid brunches and atmospheric dinners together. With a bright and airy colour palette contrasted with charcoal-coloured units and splashes of green from the garden-view windows, it's a real dream. Rustle up your favourite meals and make the most of the useful accoutrements, including a range cooker and two-drawer dishwasher. Making those waking morning moments even more heavenly is a Nespresso coffee machine, and for those special celebrations you'll find the wonderful addition of two wine fridges. A washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in the utility room.
Take a seat at the kitchen's breakfast island or gather around the family-sized dining table in the adjacent dining room and enjoy time together. With period features and contemporary touches harmoniously balanced, both spaces are simply divine. For added ambience, SONOS speakers can be found throughout the ground floor.
