We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Little Heron:

A wonderful cottage with excellent amenities and facilities. Lovely touches around the cottage - fresh flowers, books, and a wonderful welcome hamper.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, very comfortable and loved the log fire. The welcome box was amazing and even presents under the tree on arrival. Very relaxing stay and so close to local eateries and shops.

Owners were very helpful. The welcome pack was really nice.

Thank you Jane and Gary of Little Heron and Boutique Retreats for most incredible weekend!

We had a wonderful stay. A lovey property and such attention to detail, with the lovely touches like the pillow spray, which my seven year old daughter now won’t sleep without!

Little Heron far exceeded our expectations. Our 5th booking through Boutique Retreats, we cannot fault their selection. We loved everything about Little Heron from the location to the interior decor to the best welcome hamper of goodies, the complimentary Mermaid Gin, the snuggly Little Heron dressing gowns, the huge roll top bath and all the lovely little Bramley toiletries. The overall feel and comfort was just perfect in every way. It really felt like a luxury 'home from home' that we didn't want to leave...

Beautiful cottage which has been restored with much detail. An excellent base to explore the New Forest. Well equipped kitchen, luxurious bedding, towels, toiletries etc. i have never had a welcome pack like it in all the years I’ve been renting! Very generous and much appreciated. Enclosed, private garden for sitting in was very pleasant. No on street parking but we always found a space just a few minutes away. As well as being a great summer location, would be a very nice cozy house for a winter break too.

We really loved our stay in Little Heron. There was a very generous hamper of locally produced goods which was well received for which we thank the owners.

A really lovely, well appointed cottage close to all amenities with a very nice garden area.

Fabulous cottage, beautifully decorated and in a lovely location in the centre of Lymington. We will most definitely be back! Thanks also for the lovely treats you left us and the thoughtful present for our baby.

Lovely property and equally lovely hosts in Jane and Guy who made our stay perfect.

Fantastic house in a great location.

Little Heron is a true example of luxury, the house itself holds all the charm of its years, it's perfectly situated to enjoy all that Lymington has to offer. What stands out though is the presentation and meticulous attention to detail. The house has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard, everything is thought in terms of amenities and don't get me started on the lavish welcome basket. I would highly recommend Little Heron in everyway and look forward to returning.

We had a fantastic time a Little Heron over Christmas. The house is conveniently located and has everything you need. The welcome hamper was beyond our expectations!
