We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Outrake Farm:

The house is a jewel!

We loved it! Spacious, comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle of Windermere which was fab. Amazing views and garden. And loved the interior. Highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated and located

very special place

Boutique retreats are a wonderful agent to deal with ,great people, beautiful cottages, and wonderful locations…

Beautiful views!

Outrake Farm is truely stunning. It combines a rustic, cosy charm with understated chic and superb comfort. Everything is top notch and designed so beautifully! The kitchen and living area provide so much space. Everyone can find their own nook or cranny to sit and read, watch a film or admire the beautiful view across the lake. One of our gang brought along his paints and was blown away by the atmospheric winter scenes across the lake and the garden. The location is perfect and a path from the farm takes you into Coniston. There are many walks and hikes in the area and of course if you're feeling brave, the Old Man of Coniston! Ambleside is around 25 minutes by car and has a wide choice of good places to eat- we loved Kysty and Fresher's Cafe. Can't wait to come back in summer!

Wonderful place to stay, the overall experience for us all was one to remember, luxurious yet homely.
