We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about The Skirret:

Beautiful, thoughtful, cared for.

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a gorgeous part of the country

fantastic place - stylish, comfortable and brilliantly situated for exploring local sights and eateries

If you're looking for the perfect Cotswolds experience, this is it. Private, but not totally remote; and just a 10 minute drive to the beautiful towns of Stow, Burford and Bourton on the Water. Incredibly well equipped cottage, in terms of both function and comfort. Highly recommend firing up the outdoor Ooni oven and cooking some homemade pizzas.

We had a fabulous stay at the Skirret and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in the area!!

This is a beautiful place to stay.

We loved everything about the location, the cottage & the added touches of a 'Welcome Basket', bath robes etc. All these little touches really make a difference.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location - 10 minutes from so many great places to visit! The bed was comfortable, the shower amazing, the kitchen very well equipped and the sofa also very comfy for relaxing on after a day of exploring! Would love to go back.

The Skirret was a nice quaint cottage value for money than other expensive Cottages that we have stayed in.

It was just what we wanted for a bank holiday escape.

Outstanding - Extremely well-equipped kitchen and v comfortable.

A beautiful place to stay. Amazing decor but also really comfortable: the owners have thought of everything. The welcome hamper was lovely too. A great place to stay with lots of fantastic places to eat and walk nearby.

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect. The cottage was very cozy we didn’t even wanna leave the place. The location is also ideal, it did not take us long to get to the rest of the city. Definitely would wanna revisit.

A very well equipped retreat, which felt like home from home. The Skirret is beautifully decorated and we loved the fire on chilly autumn evenings. It is well positioned for visiting all the main sites in the Cotswolds.

Really lovely cottage with everything you could need.

Practically perfect in every way. It was beautiful, in a gorgeous location, we had a wonderful holiday

Myself & my husband stayed here for 2 weeks and it was absolutely perfect. The location is superb for exploring the Cotswolds & the cottage itself could not be more comfortable & better equipped. We can't wait to stay here again.

Delightful interior, very well equipped kitchen and perfect location

The cottage, its equipment and the area in the Cotswolds were absolutely fabulous. Thank you!

The cottage was exactly how we imagined it to be. It was very homely and in a great location. It was clean and done out to the highest standard and we would absolutely stay there again in the future and recommend to friends and family.

The cottage is simply lovely; beautifully presented, well equipped and very comfortable. Parking is off road and there is a little garden which is a real sun trap. The location is lovely and quiet but within easy reach of the main tourist areas of the Cotswolds. There are lovely walks from the doorstep and a great pub in the village. Highly recommended.

Beautifully furnished and well thought out cottage for a short or mid term stay. In the stunning Cotswolds, perfect for walkers and diners alike

Beautiful cottage with tasteful decor. Lovely welcome pack provided. Will be staying again.

Beautiful cottage in perfect location with high quality fixture and fittings

A lovely cottage - very well designed, very quiet location yet near to the main routes into the pretty towns and villages. The owners have thought about everything you could need for a relaxing, comfortable stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The pictures were exactly how the cortage was, it qas simply delightful.

Very comfortable space and staff throughout extremely helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay. The decor was exceptional and very different to our own house, which made part of the holiday experience. It was also a great location for visiting a number of National Trust houses; gardens such as the Batsford Arboretum and Bourton House Garden; and lovely villages such as Chipping Campden. Daylesford farm was worth a visit to stock up with some nice food to cook at the Skirret in the evenings.

Simply gorgeous cottage where everything has been thought of to make your stay as relaxing as possible. With top quality furnishings and fittings, products from The White Company and plenty of added extras, we could not recommended either The Skirrett or Boutique Retreats more highly.

Cosy cottage, idea for 2 wanting a romantic break or just to get away from a busy life

Brilliantly thought out conversion, homely well laid out and small extras such as torches, electric chargers in case of need. Village/Hamlet peaceful and easy to get to and from. Definitely somewhere I will return to couldn’t commend it more.

Amazing location, super cottage with wonderful beds and bedding and facilities, it’s our 2nd time here and we will be back again I’m sure ??

Absolutely faultless. Brilliant interior design gives it an amazing feel, with wonderful little touches that made our stay so special. Cannot recommended highly enough.
