We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Tudor House:

Beautiful location, buildings and gardens. Thoroughly enjoyed our very peaceful stay here with friends.

A beautifully-restored Tudor house with all mod cons inside.

Beautiful property, lavishly furnished in an absolutely stunning area of Somerset. Fantastic walks from the doorstep. You really are in the middle of nowhere so it is incredibly peaceful. The whole project involving Halswell House is fascinating and ongoing so it will be a joy to watch it’s progress.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tudor House over the bank holiday weekend! The charm and warmth of the home made our family feel right at home. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful surroundings and creating lasting memories together. Thank you for providing such a lovely space for us to relax and enjoy each others company. We hope to return again soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tudor House thoroughly! The tour of the Halswell Manor was incredible so we have to thank Oksana. On the grounds we would recommend visiting the Temple and Millwood. We made good use of the Somerset guide - other places we recommend are: Dunster Castle, Cheddar Gorge and the West Somerset railway train from Crowcombe to Bishops Lydeard - the volunteers were so lovely and made the experience. But the best place to be Here, having beautiful areas of land at your disposal and a massive garden to lounge in the sun.

It is absolutely gorgeous! Oksana, Emilz are wonderfully helpful. Best property we have ever stayed in.

Thank you for your thoughtful note and for the making our time at Tudor House so special. The paintings will ensure that we remember fondly the Manor and its environs. The weather and everyone we met were highlights. We hope to cross paths again one day soon.

We had a lovely 11 nights at Tudor House, benefitting from such glorious weather. Morning walks with our Great ...around Millwood and a tour of the house were memorable. We will miss beautiful Somerset and we really enjoyed our stay.

We visited Tudor House in early May 2024. Its the most amazing property and location that even beats the pictures on the website. Attention to every detail was given

This house is so beautiful I would like to keep it secret. Perfect mixture of a period house and modern amenities. Very good vibes.

Thank you for the most wonderful stay here at Tudor House. Our first Christmas away from home - what a property and location to be lucky enough to stay in. The Halswell team were on hand, a wonderful welcome hamper upon arrival, beautiful Christmas tree and decorations, an pertet touches for an amazing family Christmas. Fab house tour by the lovely and friendly Emils.

Wonderful accommodation. Clean and tastefully decorated which is the best start to staying somewhere other than home. Starter pack was excellent, very welcoming!

We feel provileged to have seen this great house with its history and beautiful surroundings. Making jam of the blackberries, catching and putting back a lobster from the pond, watching the sheep, make wishes on the public pathways and enjoying apples from the garden all added to a wonderful stay.

Beautiful surroundings , so peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay, just our cup of tea!

Cannot recommend the place enough, great location, wonderful cottage and hosts

Delightful stay in a tranquil location. Private tour of main house very interesting.

A unique experience staying in this beautiful house and grounds, with all the mod cons. Thank you for a fabulous stay and so interesting to have a tour of the house.

Beautiful and distinctive house in superb location. The whole place had a communty feel, helped out by the unexpected delight of a house concert. The gardens were beautifully design and the main house tour with Ann was a revelation. Great service from onsite team, particularly Oksana. Also great service from BR office.

Tudor House is stunning, one of the most beautiful houses I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is a work of art! Spotlessly clean and fitted out to such a high standard. Oskana the owner was wonderfully helpful and we loved learning about the history of the estate. Fabulous holiday.

We have had a fabulous break staying in such beautiful surroundings, having the privacy of the amazing garden and comfort and warmth of this gorgeous house has made our stay perfect.
We look forward to returning sometime and will recommend it
