Special lower occupancy rate
A special lower occupancy rate applies at Tudor House, outside of school holidays, peak weeks, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.
Option one offers a 10% discount for parties of four guests or less. At this rate, the master bedroom and bedroom three will be available for you.
Option two offers a 20% discount for parties of two guests or less. At this rate, the master bedroom will be available for you.

Step through the arched entrance to uncover the warmest of welcomes, where you'll discover a world of opulence and rich history within the walls of this beautiful retreat. Lovingly restored yet embracing its unique heritage, every inch of Tudor House is thoughtfully curated to honour the story of our divine dwelling. Textures take the lead in the traditional drawing room, from rustic beams to charming mullion windows, antique furnishings and endless charm create the perfect space to rest and reset. With two sumptuous sofas and striking lamps by India Jane, an ottoman and a cosy armchair, settle down in style for film nights beside the Smart TV, or simply forget the world for a while fireside. In cooler seasons, the handsome Hunter wood burning stove promises snug moments, set within a stunning original fireplace. Spend slow afternoons captivated by your current page-turner or gather for an evening of board games beside the flickering fire.
In addition, there is underfloor heating throughout Tudor House, ensuring warmth underfoot whilst you explore this decadent residence.
Eating
In calming hues, the stylish kitchen at Tudor House is simply a chef's dream, with ample space to prepare culinary delights and all the mod-cons you could need for crafting fabulous feasts. Formally known as Lady Tynte's dairy in the 18th century, today you'll find a stylish space adorned with hints of its historic past. From far-stretching beams and a honey-hued stone floor, to exquisite, hand-carved wooden counters with a characterful goat design - the pairing of modern and rustic influences creates a delightful space to both cook and dine. Promising a stove with induction hob, Belfast sink, a built-in fridge/freezer and dishwasher, not forgetting the all-important Delonghi Caffe Corso coffee machine for morning lattes. A lovely, round antique-style dining table for four takes centre stage, perfect for savouring slow mornings and pared-back brunches together.
The kitchen leads into a formal dining room offering a spacious, open plan design with darling touches including an antique display table. With a handsome wooden table and beautiful chairs in soft grey shades comfortably seating six, just made for decadent dining moments and celebrating together in this divine country home.
In addition, a washing machine, tumble dryer and second fridge/freezer are located in the Boot Room for guest use.
Sleeping and bathing
Follow the solid oak staircase to find three equally gorgeous, ensuite bedrooms to choose from.
Uncover the beauty of the master bedroom, where a stunning super king-sized bed awaits for the most blissful of slumbers, dressed in lavish linens, throws and cushions. Featuring swoon-worthy beams overhead, two spacious cupboards with plenty of space for belongings and a handsome coffer, this truly is an opulent room to retreat. A charming occasional chair rests beside the wood burning stove, providing a lovely spot for moments of serene quietude. Boasting breath-taking views over the Elizabethan garden and beyond, discover a secret sanctuary within the master suite.
The luxurious ensuite shower room in rich tones and marbled textures is home to large walk-in shower, complete with rainfall head for rejuvenating self-care rituals.
Along the landing lies bedroom two, in calming neutral shades with elegant interior design, this space promises to soothe the soul. A lavish king-sized bed awaits, in harmony with darling antique touches and ample cupboard space to store luggage. Slip softly into bubble-topped soaks in the ensuite bathroom, featuring luxe, dark hues and marbled accents with a drench shower overhead.
At the end of the landing rests the south bedroom, where soft tones and a beautiful super king-sized bed ensure restful repose. With low-set windows offering a tranquil spot to settle, made for whiling away peaceful mornings, overlooking pretty garden views with a fresh coffee in hand. Lending a sense of calm and sophisticated cosiness, you may never wish to leave the comfort of this dreamy space. The ensuite shower room with marble design and a drench shower is perfect for those wake-me-up moments.
Each bedroom is dressed in luxurious linen from King of Cotton, along with a Smart TV and USB ports, wonderful for recharging after a day of exploring with your favourite series. All ensuites are complete with heated towel rails to keep towels warm and fluffy, along with underfloor heating throughout.
Outside space
A world of wonder awaits in the grounds of Tudor House, where manicured lawns and a heavenly knot garden provide a plethora of spaces to wander and daydream. Escaping reality has never been so idyllic, embraced by pepperpot castles and flourishing flowerbeds, prepare to be spellbound by your mesmeric surroundings. Unwind in the tranquil, south-facing terrace on sun-soaked afternoons overlooking the historic gardens, complete with a large wooden table for ten and a barbecue for alfresco dining. During the warmer months, while away blissful days in this magical setting with two garden benches, perfectly placed for gazing over the gorgeous gardens. You'll also find outside games available for whiling away blissful hours together. Venture beyond the grounds, where a gentle stroll to Mill Wood and the Georgian pleasure garden allows for moments of quiet contemplation in nature. You will receive a key to the 18th century Robert Adam designed Temple of Harmony, a perfect place to picnic with a glass of champagne in the summer, or something warmer after a brisk autumnal walk. As dusk begins to fall, climb the viewing tower to discover far-reaching vistas over the mystical estate and rolling Somerset countryside, a secret spot where life's most magical moments reside.

Parking
There is parking in the main car park for up to 15 cars at Tudor House, just a one-minute walk from the retreat.
Please take care when driving into Tudor House, as the access lanes are narrow and there is a public footpath.
Babies and children
Children and babies are most welcome at Tudor House, a travel cot and high chair are available on request.
Dogs
Two well behaved medium-sized dogs are very welcome at Tudor House. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.
Assistance on hand
Please note that Tudor House's owners and housekeepers reside on site, the housekeeping team will be on hand should you require any assistance at all during your stay.

For those in search of a cosy country atmosphere, head to The Ring of Bells to sample hearty pub favourites beside the fire. For adorable days canal-side, head to Bridgwater for a dose of the pastoral English countryside. For adventurers and walkers looking to embrace the Somerset countryside, the stunning Hestercombe Gardens resides close by, showcasing four centuries of garden design as well as a contemporary art gallery, whilst hidden in the Quantock Hills AONB, you'll find the walled gardens of the National Trust's Fyne Court.
