1 Bedroom (Sleeps 2 + cot)
Deep in the Wiltshire countryside, this stunning cottage has been lovingly restored by its owner and has been transformed into a romantic retreat with more than a hint of France about it. With soft Bathstone walls and floors, cosy wood burners, a bath for two and a blissful hot tub, this is for those wanting a passionate pad in which to woo. It's also ideally located to explore Bath, that most beautiful of cities that evokes the drama and romance of Jane Austen, and the historical town of Bradford-on-Avon - all less than a two-hour drive from London.
Living
The large, striking sitting room is beautiful with exposed Bathstone walls, original Bathstone flag floors, wooden beam and large fire with Clearview wood burning stove. There's a pretty India Jane blue and cream patterned sofa, perfect for curling up together on, whilst there's another George Smith mohair chair for alone time, curled up with your favourite book. A 42-inch Smart television with a SONOS bar and an Amazon Fire tablet for accessing Sonos and Spotify provide the entertainment for evenings in. In addition, there are patio doors leading out on to the south facing front patio so you can bring the outside in on warmer days.
Eating
The gorgeous green Harvey Jones bespoke kitchen has everything you need to rustle up your favourite meals and snacks. With granite work surfaces, Miele oven, gas hob, large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, there's everything you would expect plus a Nespresso Vertuo coffee machine, Dualit toaster and kettle for those hot drink essentials. Nestled next to the kitchen lies an OKA kitchen table and chairs for loved-up lunches and decadent dinners, whilst the floor to ceiling architecturally designed French windows beautifully link the kitchen to the outdoor space beyond.
Sleeping
Oh-so-romantic, the exquisite bedroom can be found up the oak and glass stairs. Spacious and airy, the vaulted ceiling boasts Velux windows which let in loads of light, whilst the beautiful exposed Bathstone walls and oak floor adds real character. There's a fabulous wood burner too, making the room super-cosy during cooler months. The lovely French-inspired bed is king size, and comes swathed in luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, goose down quilt and pillows, plus French Bedroom bedspread and cushions - so you're guaranteed a blissful night's sleep. There's also a 42-inch Smart television and SONOS speaker for when you just want to stay in bed.
Bathing
Next to the bedroom is the gorgeous bathroom, deliciously warm with underfloor heating. There's a cast iron bathtub for two, perfect for long soaks after a day out exploring, and a huge walk-in shower with massive rain head - just what you need to wake you up in the morning. There's also a Sonos speaker so you can listen to your favourite tunes whilst you lather up.
Outdoor space
There are two lovely patio areas to the front and back of the house.
To the front, you'll find a lovely sunny spot with table and chairs and lots of lush planting. There is also a beautiful hand-crafted slate water feature.
To the back lies the jacuzzi hot tub tucked under an oak gazebo, Weber barbeque and another table and chairs for intimate alfresco meals a deux.
