Run by local farmer Paul Grimes, Wotton Farm Shop has been in the Grimes family for years and has recently been extended, creating a bigger space for the fantastic farm shop and also adding a new cafe area too.
Surrounded by beautiful Gloucestershire countryside in the quaint market town of Wotton-under-Edge, the farm shop reaps the rewards of this rural haven. Head into the oak-framed portico to get your first taste and run your eyes over the fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables from the local area. Alongside year-round favourites are seasonal specialities, from delicious berries to fat orange pumpkins.
Inside the farm shop, a huge variety of goods is on offer. If you lean towards a savoury palate, the impressive range of nearly 80 cheeses will sure to delight. Combine a selection of these with a freshly baked baguette and some goodies from the deli counter and your taste buds will hit seventh heaven.
If you have more of a sweet tooth, the eye-catching, mouth-watering array of home-made treats will not disappoint. From fresh croissants to homemade treacle tarts, apple pies and more, each product has been infused with flavour and love to create a culinary triumph. If you are not sure what to go for, the helpful staff are always willing to offer advice and recommendations.
Home to a cafe, farm shop and nursey, you can spend as much or as little time as you please at Wotton Farm Shop. Pack a basket full of delicious local goods or spend a while in the cafe and pour over a selection of sausage rolls, pastries, hot drinks and more. Especially cosy on a winter’s day, the cafe is open most days from 9am to 4pm.
