Challenging the status quo of white spirits, Chase Distillery and Farm is a family-run field-to-bottle distillery. Using potatoes and apples grown on site and practicing expert techniques, the delicious results materialise in unique bottles of gin, vodka and mouth-watering cocktails.
Starting in 2008, Chase Distillery in Herefordshire was established to shake up the white spirits industry. Adopting the same level of care and attention that is directed at the terroir of wines and the barrel aging of whiskies, this family-run business takes total pride in its craft.
Creating spirits completely from scratch, the team at Chase Distillery starts with the basics. With a passion for farming, potatoes and apples are grown on the distillery’s farm and are then taken through a complex series of processes to create a specialist range of spirits. From picking to peeling to pulping and more, every part of the process is laced with finesse: “the quality of our products isn’t by chance. It takes meticulous dedication, craftsmanship and passion from our team.”

A honed approach that follows finely tuned measures (250 British potatoes go into every bottle of Chase Original Potato Vodka!), the distillery’s spirits each boast a unique taste. With a number of their spirits tempered with spring-water from the farm, their gins are also infused with a delicate blend of botanicals to further play with the palate. Both liquid and vapour infused, blends include cinnamon, ginger, almond, coriander, cardamom, cloves, angelica root, liquorice root and lemon peels to ensure a distinct, full-bodied flavour, as well as secret mixes.
Of course, the best way to discover the Distillery’s delicious spirits though is first-hand. Open throughout the week, you can head over to take a distillery tour, browse the distillery shop or enjoy a drink in the bar whilst taking in the gorgeous Herefordshire countryside views from the outside seating area.
