Living
For a cottage, there's a surprisingly large amount of living space for everyone, and with warm, neutral tones used throughout, it's easy to feel totally relaxed in this Cornish escape.
The beautiful sitting area, with stunning feature stone fireplace, wood burner and underfloor heating, is the perfect setting for autumnal evenings, offering cosy sanctuary after a long, blustery coastal walk, or a cool escape from the heat of a hot summer's day. With a sofa, armchairs and a cute window seat, there's room for everyone.
In addition, there's a large 'family' room or conservatory, offering a spacious retreat for everyone with glass doors leading out on to the terrace gardens and spectacular estuary views. Here you'll find lots of seating for everyone to sprawl out, whether to watch a film or a favourite box set on the QLED TV or hang around in the cocoon chair listening to your ultimate playlist on the BOSE speaker. This room also has underfloor heating.
Please note that there are a set of steps leading up to the retreat.
Eating
The fabulous kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up meals, whether it's the catch of the day from a fisherman in Fowey to super-fresh ingredients from a farm shop. With an electric Rangemaster oven with induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and all the other essentials including the all-important Nespresso coffee machine, you're all set whatever your culinary requirements. There's also a washer dryer on hand should you need it, plus underfloor heating.
The dining area is home to the country kitchen style dining table with seating for 6 - 8 people, the perfect setting for both lazy Sunday breakfast or dinner party celebrations with subtle overhead lighting, underfloor heating, and eye-catching exposed feature brickwork.
