This cute former hayloft lies in the prestigious Trevear Farm close to Padstow and is set within 75 acres of rolling countryside, making it a perfect base from which to explore the gorgeous North Cornish coastline. With unspoilt country views and a plethora of great facilities on site from the indoor heated pool to the sun terrace, this is a lovely, relaxed getaway for two, or it can be booked in conjunction with any of the other Trevear properties if you're seeking extra space.
Living
Climb the stairs into the property and you'll find the main living space - an airy, light space with a vaulted ceiling and huge window overlooking the rolling countryside beyond. There's a plush L-shaped sofa to sprawl out on after a day out exploring, plus eye-catching Jo Downs artwork on the wall. (There is a stairlift if you have limited mobility).
Eating
The cute galley kitchen is fully kitted out with everything you need to whip up a meal or two, perhaps some seafood bought locally from Padstow.There is a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, electric oven, gas hob, washer/dryer, microwave, and Nespresso machine, plus a handy breakfast bar for snacks or a quick bite to eat. In addition, there's a dining table tucked away in the living space which can be pulled out for more relaxing mealtimes. Trevear Farm produce their own meat, which is available to buy on site - perfect for BBQs and Sunday roasts.
Sleeping
The cosy bedroom, hidden behind a stained-glass window, is resplendent in shades of eggshell blue and has a king size bed, swathed in gorgeously soft bedding, cushions and throws. It comes complete with fitted wardrobe, dressing table and Velux window to let in the morning sunshine - ideal for breakfast in bed!
Bathing
There's a spacious bathroom with large walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, deep bath for long soaks, heated rail to keep towels warm and fluffy and a shoal of Jo Downs glass fish above to keep you company!
Outdoor space
There's a pretty little private patio right next to the property with breath-taking country views and a large table and chairs for a spot of alfresco dining.
Swimming pool
Right next to Trevear Hayloft lies the stunning shared indoor heated pool, steam room, and sun terrace for your use.
Gym
Situated on the farm, there is a fantastic gym facility for all the onsite Trevear residents. It includes running machines, rowing machines, a peloton bike, smith machine and dumbbells and kettlebells, fit for whatever kind of exercise you are in too. This all can be enjoyed by listening to the perfect gym playlist on the inbuilt speaker system.
In the gym lobby you will also find a bike rack so if you fancy bringing your bikes down for your holiday there is somewhere to store them for your stay.
Please ensure when using the gym that children are supervised by an adult at all times.
Robert's Honesty Bar
Our honesty bar, Robert's, is available for all guests of Trevear Farm and is the perfect place for a relaxing drink during your stay. With a range of Tarquin's Cornish gins, wine by the bottle or a cold can of Sharps Offshore, you can sit back and enjoy a tipple with stunning views of the countryside. More information can be found in the property folder on arrival.
Trevear Shoot Room
If you are part of a larger party staying in multiple properties on the estate and would like to dine together as a group there's a spacious function room available, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, wood burner and cloakroom, ideal for special celebration gatherings. Private catering can be organised for you, from canapés and champagne to a full dining experience - just get in touch to discuss your requirements. There will be an additional charge of £100 per holiday for use of Trevear Shoot Room.
Parking
There's plenty of parking close by. There are four electric vehicle charging points around Trevear Farm, should you need to charge your car.
WiFi
There is WiFi so you can keep in touch with the outside world.
Dogs
One dog is very welcome at Trevear Hayloft. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.

In the Area
There's so much to do close by if you're willing to drag yourself away from the retreat. Padstow is just a couple of miles down the road and as well as being known as the 'foodie capital of Cornwall' it also has seven stunning sandy beaches - one for every day of the week! If you like to keep active, the Camel Estuary is close by and is perfect for water sports, or you can explore the Camel Trail by foot or by bike. Further along the coast East lies Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac, which equally have fabulous beaches and great places to eat, whilst head West and you'll find the fabulous surfing beaches such as Holywell Bay all the way down to St Agnes. Alternatively, you might like to hop across to the South coast, with yachty-totty Fowey, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan a must-visit.
