Astonishing in every way, we're super-excited to welcome you to this epic coastal getaway. Perched high above the pretty seaside village of Portreath, with an easy path down to the sandy shore, this super-luxe beach house makes the most of the jaw-dropping sea views with glass frontage throughout, making it a bright and oh-so beautiful space. Each room has been beautifully and sympathetically created, pulling inspiration from all the ever-changing colours found in the wonderful seascape found out of the windows. Ideally located on the spectacular north Cornish coast between St Agnes and St Ives, it's an ideal spot for families, friends or couples alike.

A special 'Just for Two' rate applies outside of school holidays, peak weeks, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year. At Vincis the 'Just for Two' rate is 20% discount.

When Vincis is booked for two guests this is on the basis that only the master bedroom is used during your stay.

Living

Reflecting the beautifully subtle colours of Cornish sunsets, the gorgeous open-plan living and dining area is just glorious, whilst the floor-to-ceiling windows that run the length of the room offer staggeringly divine sea views. The sitting area has a super-soft five-seater sofa, whilst the three other armchairs offer plenty of additional seating - each with extensive sea views. At the other end of the room lies the wonderful dining area which perfectly seats eight. We just love the turquoise dresser and gorgeous glass light. During warmer months, the glass doors can be opened out on to the balcony to bring the outside in- what better way to spend an evening than to feast with the sun setting in front of you and the sea breezes wafting in?

Eating

The fabulous kitchen, which must boast the most incredible sea views a kitchen has ever had, is filled to the brim with everything you'll need to cook up a storm, from the Samsung American fridge to the Smeg Range cooker. Everything else is cleverly hidden behind the sleek cupboards whilst the pretty wooden worktops are a dream to prep food on. In addition, there's a handy utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and lots of space for storage and to dry out wetsuits.

Sleeping and bathing

There are four exquisite bedrooms to choose from. The master bedroom, in chic shades of navy blue and dusky pink, lies on the first floor and boasts a sumptuous super king bed, en suite shower room, dual-aspect windows (both with sea views), and an amazing private balcony with a bistro table and chairs for breakfast or romantic sundowners.

The second bedroom on the first floor has a zip-and-link bed, meaning it can be set up as twins or a super king bed. It's a perfect spot for little ones, with an amazing sea view and located right next door to the family bathroom which has a bath and shower.

There are two further bedrooms on the ground floor. The bedroom in calming shades of grey is another zip-and-link meaning it can be a super king or twin beds, also ideal for children. It also boasts an en suite shower room with 'Jack and Jill' doors. The pretty bedroom in turquoise and green is a king size bed.

All bedrooms come complete with swathes of luxurious linens and are supremely comfortable, whilst heated rails in all the bath and shower rooms means towels will be kept warm and fluffy.

Outdoor space

Vincis has lots of outdoor space to make the most of the incredible views. To the front of the property there is a sunny balcony, accessed from the main living area, whilst the master bedroom has its own private balcony. In addition, there is another large deck with a table and chairs for alfresco meals plus slate for a barbeque, plus a fully enclosed astroturf area with sun loungers.

Parking

Vincis is accessed via a narrow, single track road. There is parking for at least two cars at Vincis - two to the front of the property and additional parking in a private layby behind the house.

Accessibility

Please note that there are two steps on entrance to Vincis. If you require any further information regarding accessibility, please do not hesitate to give us a call on 01872 553 491.

Babies and children

Babies and children are welcome at Vincis. A travel cot, highchair and stair gates available on request.

Dogs

Two well behaved dogs over the age of 12 months are very welcome at Vincis. Please note, there is an additional fee per dog, per week or short break.

WiFi

In the Area

Nestled on the north Cornish coast, Portreath is a charming and historically important fishing port that lies between the ancient mining towns of Redruth and Camborne. It's an idyllic little spot where you can take a meander along the harbour front, pop into one of the cheerful cafes for afternoon tea or even take a boat trip. Portreath beach is a wonderful sandy spot - families will love the rock pools, sea water swimming pool and space enough to set up a game of beach cricket whilst there are some good surf schools if you need a lesson or two. Exploring the cliff top walks is a must, whether it's along the South West Coast path or the Tramway Coast to Coast trail which runs from Portreath to the harbour village of Devoran. Further afield to the east you'll find St Agnes, a wonderful village to explore with great beaches, and up towards Newquay. To the west lies the iconic St Ives, the huge sandy beaches of Gwithian, Tehidy Woods and down towards Sennen and Land's End.

The Longest Beaches in Cornwall

Cornwall is home to many beautiful beaches: the golden frontiers between land and sea. But which are the longest beaches in Cornwall, and where can you find them?

Combine the luxuries of a good hotel with the suit-yourself dynamic of self-catering.

We know how gorgeous our retreats are, but don’t just take our word for it – here’s what previous guests say about Vincis:

We had a good stay, the weather was amazing considering it was September.

Vincis is a lovely property with all that one could wish for but the difficulties for people with mobility problems must be made clear. You can share what I’ve written but I presume it would only include my first name.

A beautiful house, tastefully decorated, comfortable and with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The view from the house is amazing and we never tired of watching the changing tides and the beautiful sunsets. Portreath beach is perfect for dog walkers and families. We can highly recommend the Pod Cafe in Portreath and The Unicorn for places to eat. There’s also a beautiful National Trust beach and cafe at nearby Godrevy and a great woodland walk at Tehidy.

Vincis provides the kind of holiday accommodation that you can only dream about. Top quality living space complemented by unrivalled access to the beach - if you're visiting Cornwall, this is the place to be!

What a wonderful house. Fabulous location and super comfy. Even a loo with a view!

Beautiful home with a quality finish. Views from master bedroom were fantastic.

Super property in fabulous location. We had a relaxing and peaceful stay away from the hurly burly of everyday life. The property was extremely well appointed and high quality throughout with every small detail though of. The beds were so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! Our dog loved it too…. We really loved every minute.

Wonderful place for a multi-generational get away with sublime sea views. Both the toddler and the dog particularly enjoyed the enclosed balcony off the living room. Useful to have nearby shop, bakery and pubs. Very thoughtfully equipped.

The house was beautiful, and superbly located on a quiet lane high above the village with outstanding views of the sea, beach, village and surroundings. We could all manage the walk down to the village (a few steps but mostly concrete slopes and roads) and enjoyed exploring the area. Portreath is well placed to access much of Cornwall, being only 10 minutes drive from the A30 at Redruth.

Amazing property and location, we had a fantastic holiday and will be booking vincis again.

A wonderful location and property for a three generation family holiday.

The perfect spot to just kick back and relax.

Vincis is quite simply an immaculate property - modern, spacious and with spectacular views of the sea. And what's more, you are truly just a five-minute walk from the beach - if you have a dog, it will be a dream come true! I can't recommend highly enough.

Stunning location and very good quality accommodation.

This is a brilliant house in a fantastic location. It was really well equipped. We were a party of 3 couples and everything we needed was there. No compromises. Brilliant.

Its perfect! We have stayed twice now and it was even better than before.

Stylish and comfortable house, the perfect base for our beach adventures, and the views are not to be missed! My favourite part was falling asleep each night to the sound of the waves. Hated leaving!

Vincis is lovely. The views and beach second to none.We would gladly return. Many thanks to the owners and Boutique Retreats.

Fantastic property with stunning sea views

The views are mesmerising, a forever changing backdrop. The garden is a suntrap and the bedrooms are sumptuous. Never want to leave!

Great house in a wonderful location. We will definitely be back.

A perfectly positioned home by the sea, very well presented and equipped. Spectacular views from the master bedroom, lounge, kitchen and even the master toilet!

Beautifully located and the inside felt like a dream, just perfect

This is a wonderful place to stay, well equipped, warm and comfortable. The sea views are amazing.

Beautiful house with stunning views in a perfect position for the beach and cliff top walks.

We stayed at Vincis as a family party of eight to celebrate our son's 40th birthday. It's a lovely house with wonderful views over Portreath beach and village. It's decorated and furnished beautifully and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We all loved staying there and would highly recommend it.

PS We're already missing the sound of the sea and the views of the waves rolling in!

This was one of the most beautiful houses we have stayed in, and we've stayed in a few! Vincis is in such a perfect location for the beach - those views are outstanding. The house was beautifully finished, so comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. We have already booked for next year.

A very luxurious property. We were completely wowed with the absolutelt stunning views. The attention to detail in this property is fantastic. The beach is a short walk and there is also convenience store within walking distance along with a couple of pubs which do food. I would highly recommend this property.

Property was decorated to a very high standard and very comfortable. View very good, near the beach. Well placed to explore Cornwall.

This house is perfect in every way. My husband and I just sat on the balcony just staring at the view. It was home from home, with everything you need, and more. We will definitely be going back. Xxxx

We had an amazing time at Vincis and loved every minute, a real home from home feeling with a touch of luxury. Fabulous sea views and very walkable to the beach.

The house was stunning and exactly like the pictures, the views and the location was beautiful. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic property - extremely high quality accommodation and amenities and the view is equally as magnificent. We will definitely be back.

Spotless, warm and very welcoming. Simply the best coastal retreat with stunning decor and awesome views. Well done owners and thank you for sharing this little slice of perfection with us lucky customers and pets.

Perfect break away. Just watching the stunning views from a beautiful, cosy home is enough to ensure a relaxing break.

Stunning location. Very comfortable. Stylish decor. Fantastic kitchen, extremely well equipped. Very generous and thoughtful welcome pack. Would love to come back.

A high spec. home that has clearly been well thought through by the owners as a family home. A very well equipped kitchen and good quality toys and games to keep the children occupied on rainy days

We stayed for a week and absolutely loved our time at Vincis! The view is spectacular and ever changing - it was a real treat waking up to it everyday, no matter the weather. The house is beautifully furnished, super cosy and luxurious. The master bedroom is fabulous, really comfy bed and a beautiful bathroom.
